Folding, Flexible, Solo Sleeping Platform -- a compact solution for 4Runner or any vehicle. 

I'm adding another module to my 4Runner camping collection -- a low profile sleeping platform, to pair with my camp kitchen. An an occasional camper, I needed something small, easy to deploy, and easy to store.
A platform with room to stash enough stuff for the weekend, but not so tall that I whack my head on the ceiling. If it can be put into a "reclining" position, for reading or working, EVEN BETTER! Not only that, the whole thing can be made with a 4x4 sheet of plywood, and some inexpensive braces.
This is just the basic structure. Padding, hardware, additional storage, a test camping trip, plus a bonus mini-project are coming in the next video.
While this is designed for a 4Runner, it can certainly be used in any SUV or car. In fact, it would probably be easier, because you don't have the dreaded "hump" to deal with!
