So very happy to see this new video. I know not every YT'r shares what's going on in their personal life, but I hope things are well with you and your family.
If there is anything thing I love more than new content from you ( and I’m sure Im not alone here) , is looking around the barn during this video and thinking “I remember the barn door build” “I remember when he put that flashing around the handles … and I remember when he twisted the handles” “I remember when you weighed your welding table” and I always remember liking every video and looking forward to the next. Glad you’re back for what I hope is a nice long run… ✌🏾
I was just going through your older videos last night lamenting the fact that you hadnt posted in a while! What a blessing. So good to see a new video come up! Hope you are well!
Here's a CNC plasma tip. When you're doing the drawing for your welding tabs leave about a 1/16" strip connecting all your weld tabs. Do them in groups of 10 or whatever. This makes them way easier to fish out of the water and easier to remove the dross. If you do enough in a row they'll be supported by your table slats and won't even fall in the water. You can then just cut them apart with a zip disc in seconds. It works well for me anyway.
It's refreshing to see a very nice project completed and shared without an abundance of superlatives used to describe it. The project is done, functional and elegant and everybody is happy !
I watch Bourbon and love this amazing ladder! Can’t wait to see his version of this but I love the quality and work you put into it. It’s great to see you two team up
As an architect I planned such a staircase laste year. Unfortunately it never came to reality because of the skyrocketing prices over here. Glad to see your finished piece. Thanks for sharing
Man, I can't tell you how good it is to see you putting out videos again! I was afraid some knot head stopped by your house uninvited and ruined it for the rest of us!! Please keep them coming!! Really enjoy watching your builds, in fact, you were a huge inspiration for me to get back out in my shop and get to building things.
I could totally imagine a railing that looks exactly like the folded up stairs, on it. Would double the work though, but I imagine it would look great. Awesome vid, and result. Looks great.
Great project! I'm guessing if one was so inclined, it would be easy to implement a railing as well, and perhaps a handle to avoid pinching the hand, but - it's also possible to just be aware of what you're doing!
Not a project for everyone, as the end user related, he pinched his finger grabbing the wrong section. Maybe a colored handle to safely fold and unfold?
These are more than a railing away from meeting code. No kickplate, that incline looks mighty steep. Beautiful project but terrible stairs. Maybe call it a ladder? Definitely keep kids and lawyers away from it
Oh that would look so nice, either a number of related small paintings, or one large scene that uses the specific angle of the stairs to do something unique.
Happy to see you posting. I almost unsubscribed two weeks ago, because I thought you quit posting. Then I decided to give it to the end of the year. Glad I waited. Hope the farming is going well too.
Hey man, I know you are busy on the farm almost always but you make such great videos. Great to see you back and would love to see more. You’re a hard worker and I admire it and admire you’re craftsmanship
I was about to unsubscribe, but then I thought "let's keep it until New Year, he is active mostly in winter months". I'm really glad I didn't leave as this is my favorite maker channel.
Missed you! Enjoy your fab vids, would also like to see more farm vids. Like the folding stairs! If they turned into a down slide, oh well, welcome back.
Welcome Back, saw the stairs in my feed and thought the work looked familiar. Then saw it was a Rainfall Project. You have been MIA for a while but in the video, I saw in the background a baby stroller, Congratulations are in order? Happy for the both of you. . . Life gets busy, when family grows. Prayers and best wishes to you and your family. Wonderful project, hope you drop in more often.
