@@grumpiesttitan7930 the difference between the German and Swedish version when it comes to racism is the German version blames Jews while the Swedish one blames foreigners and "traitors of the people"
@@formalist6096 Nordic is germanic. Germans are their descendants. They all have the same roots and together they are the germanic family. The vikings settled down in middle europe a long time ago and they all had the same religions, the nordic mythology and still today you can see that they all have very similar languages So ethnical is Nordic = Germanic
@@formalist6096 , hahahaha, didn't know Nordic people hated Germans. But I got to say, the National Socialist Germans I've met surely had that "superiority" mindset.

The American Version for 2020 Over the East, there rises the sun A sign of our Nation’s endeavors We’ve stood together - a people of one A bond that unites us forever! Yet, why do you doubt? Why do you cast the blame? When the blood of our Heroes Still runs through our veins! -People Arise! (People to Arms!) People Arise! (People to Arms!)- Many years have come and have gone For years we have beaten and toiled Deceivers and traitors now think that they’ve won Our spirit they’ve only embroiled! But now we arise Bringing zeal for salvation! With life to the People And hope for the Nation! -- Elders and Youth together now stand They rally to end the oppression Whether employer or working man Our voices are one in expression We fight for our Freedom, Our rights and our labor A nation awakens To vanquish the traitors!
@Endrr The Creator Yes ! One day, all this madness will end ! Even if some french people are traitors to the country, there's also many patriots who want to take back our country. Long live to France, and long live to all my europeans patriots brothers !
Hello Ingen, great video as always, I'd love for you to do the song "Te souviens-tu". It is a French song dating from 1817, it poignantly evokes the memories of a former officer of the "Grande Armée" who meets a veteran, a simple soldier who begged for bread and who once save his life in battle. Thanks
It was created by King Ferdinand the second of the Holy Roman empire during his reign (1619 to 1637) he needed a song to create patriotism in the empire against the Ottomans. The French later copied it and changed the lyrics, then the Germans did the same, and then the Swedish came up with this.

Thank you for your kind words, but I'd just want to point out that this song is a Nazi song translated into Swedish. And totalitarian regimes and cruel ideologies don't represent Sweden whatsoever.

I really was wondering how Swedish have managed to do so good song as this is. Then I watched this video again, without skipping first 10 seconds, and I read this is originally German 😂
@@Negs42 Yes i am not saying that swedish nazism doesnt exist but it was just an rip-off of the german partisan song volk ans gewehr. I havent called anybody a nazi but still this didnt orginate in sweden.

@@TrafficPartyHatTest Yeah, Sweden did not help Germany invade Norway at all. On the contrary, Swedish intelligence found out about Germany's plans and warned Norway months in advance, multiple times, on top of trying to enter a defensive alliance with Norway years before the war started. Norway declined the offers and also ignored the warnings, refusing to mobilize their armed forces until German forces had landed on their beaches.
@@mimimimimimimimi6768 Not surprised, when we are taught about WW2 in school it's always about Auschwitz and how many piles of glasses from the dead Jews there are, but almost nothing of what is actually important and even less about what was happening in Sweden at the time.
I want to love Russia too from Sweden. But Putin and the Z battalions hate us and want to threaten us as they have again and again with nuclear threats.. Why can't we be friends? We have a common origin Russians and Swedish vikings from the Rus Law (nowadays called Roslagen) traded and fought together with the Slavs against the nomadic steppe hordes
Ngl... This is one of, if not, my favorite song rn. But should i feel guilty about that? Knowing well where the original song originated from, an ideology thats best remembered in hatred, *should* i turn up the volume to max whenever it comes up on my playlist? The answer is that I don't feel guilty at all listening to the Swedish version: it doesn't refrence the hate the original song had to "lesser" groups, and while that doesn't immediately make it 100% okay, it still doesn't mean I'm not going to listen to it and daydream of defending the homeland with nothing but a gun and patriotism. The only hate one should send to this song is to the original German version ; the one that was actually made by the worst of humanity. The Swedish version feels more like a call to be 'down with tyranny' and to 'defend you home from those who try and put tyranny back in the throne'. TL;DR : This song makes me feel very patriotic and i love the Swedish version while also hating the original versions meaning. ❤
