If I had a nickel for every time I heard a Swedish song with burning vehicles in the background, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot... But it's weird that I've seen it twice
There are a lot of songs now days about how the West is in dire straits, but this might be the first I've seen that actually acknowledges that it isn't really the fault of the newer generations, but in fact the older generations. Most politicians are over 50 years old and they know for a fact that the policies they push are dystopian and short-sighted, but they don't care. So long as they profit from the suffering of the people who "elected" them. Very based song, all in all.
Whilst I do agree that it's not _primarily_ the fault of the younger generation (who perhaps wasn't even alive when things were set in motion), I still find these songs... divisive? I don't really agree with the message of the song - like, yes, our country is in a sorry state of affairs, but it's no-one's particular fault. Is it the fault of the politicians? Sure, partially. Is it the fault of the immigrants? Sure, also partially. Is it the failure of the system, the politicians, the immigrants, the wider majority of people who only see the immigrants as cheap, second-class labour and apply their own stereotypes against them, thus causing an "us vs them"-mentality, furthering the descent into crime as second-generation immigrants feel like they have nothing to lose by turning to crime? Also yes. I'm a social-democrat, but even I can say that the system is fucked and desperately needs reform - but we can't pin it on one definite group - all of us helped fuck it up, wether we like it or not.
Its not just Sweden, I live in Rotterdam and work in the Hague, its frustarting how much ppl in Amsterdam and Utrecht turn a blind eye to the problems cause by mass immigration
Oh absolutely. I live in America (well I’m born Canadian and lived all over Europe, including Denmark and Sweden) and people just seem to completely ignore the issues it causes everywhere. It’s ridiculous.
Schijnt zo te zijn dat meer dan de helft van de mensen in de randstad een migratieachtergrond heeft, Binnen 5 jaar koop ik een hutje midden in het bos in Zweden en ben ik weg hier!
nah, only western europe here in the americas only the US is having problems with immigration, and i don't see that as a threat since most countries in the continent are already multiethnic cause of colonization
@@TheHoplite Olof Palme laid the rotten foundation that would inevitably lead to this, it is Per-Albin Hansson's memory that has been forgotten, the father of Folkhemmet.
@nobodynobody7713 It is a common far left misconception that Olof Palme laid the grounds for the end of Albin Hanssons folkhem. Olof Palme wrestled for it's survival whilst both the opposition, and his own party members in Kanslihushögern, worked to dissolve it.
Europe uniting is the root cause of this mess. The EUSSR wants to water down its nations ethnic peoples so they can achieve a federal union. This is all about gaining power for socialist marxist lunatics who want to burn down everything that is hold sacred.
You are actively exploiting all of these countries and then call them enemies. Your countries are responsible for colonization of these places and neo colonalism which is still happening under the flag of the EU. You are no different from the Nazis, you are just wolves who prey on the weak.
My country, too, used to be very safe, so safe that people wouldn’t even lock their doors, but now… Well, we are in the situation of Sweden but better, we have more time to save ourself. Hopefully Sweden can too with the little time it has left 🇨🇾🤝🇸🇪
even though i'm progressive, i must confess that i am quite "conservative" on the issue of immigration every country needs to protect its own national and cultural identity
“You closed your eyes to what a blind man could see” That’s not it. He sees it perfectly well, but in his eyes, dark is light, man is woman, evil is good, kinsman is foreigner. He knows what’s going on, and he wholeheartedly supports it. I do not know what goes on in the mind of a man who wishes to see his nation and people wiped off the face of the earth, but it must be very twisted and powerful indeed. “The party told you to ignore the evidence of your own eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command”
I'm far from a right-wing person, but everything in this song is just so real. Not just Sweden, this is all happening in all of Europe, yet everyone refuses to even acknowledge these problems, then act shocked when the country is in ruins. I think that everyone in Europe should know this song. Love to Sweden from Croatia
The survival of European civilization and the race that made it possible reaches far beyond economic disputes. Left or right is meaningless, being pro-White comes above all.
We don't even have proper right-wing anymore, it's the age of moral relativism Nietzsche hinted at when he said god is dead. He was of course talking of the cowardice of Christians we see today. What they call right-wing today in the west is just a shade more right than the left. Everyone refuses to acknowledge these problems? No, not everyone, but they call us all sorts of slurs to shut down the conversation. Tell me man, is our beloved Croatia going to turn into the same sh1t as the rest? I learnt Swedish because it's such a great language, and I met so many amazing Swedes here in Croatia on their vacations, I still hear from many of them years later, so it saddens me what's going on. Unfortunately as a nation I have to say they've become p u s s--13s Lycka till Sverige, från Kroatien
I just say it, this "evil far-right extremists" is the ones who saw this coming. In tens of years we have tried to warn our people. Diversity doesn't work!
Support from Hungary 🫶🇭🇺 We built a wall and fight immigration every day, even if this is against mainstream politics. We pray that the damage can still be undone.
Thanks from Germany❤ Unfortunately, my government despises its own people and wants to ban the only real opposition party. I wish Germany were more Hungarian.
this song is swedish but it also depicts whats happening here in canada perfectly, thank you sweden for this great song, and i wish nothing but the best for your country
I`m Brazilian and I live in Manaus. Here, we have a lot of Venezuelan. A lot of them are workers, but there is too much, they came here without control and sometimes it`s a problem. Many of them don`t work and there is the problem with drugs...
I'm going to send this song to my sister and ask her "Are you happy to build a world where nothing is sacred and everyone is free with no responsibility?" I already know she'll shut down and become thoroughly defensive but she and everyone else who buys into this needs to be challenged in these self destructive beliefs
@@kaiserslavaniaashur1623 My sister is woke and believes in open borders for all immigrants. Sweden tried this and now people are getting killed and hunted and the song is putting the blame on the previous generation. Overall I disagree with the blaming aspect. You can point the finger after you deal with the problem but that's how the song goes
@@EinDeutscherPatriot620 Ah, yeah the nordic countries are a bit oo open.. immigrants in denmark have started demanding that OUR kid stop eating frikadeller (a sort of meatball made of pork) in schools. like what the fuck?? no? Im all for allowing immigrants to integrate and all that, those people are cool and hard working.. we however do not want the lazy bums who sit at home leeching off our government.
I would make a critic about this song, but honestly, after some analisis, i can relate to it very much This song conveys about our generation's frustration with our parents' generation, for their failure to address societal issues and their complicity in creating the problems we now have to face it. This song calls not only for awareness, but responsibility and action so that everyone can build a better future.
Throughout history invading foreign gangs of men have beaten up people. How do you think England came to be? The very word Britain comes from Welsh not English
Yeah you definetely do not know Swedish as you have absolutely 0 awareness of what the song is nor its context. It is about the older generation letting in millions of foreigners into Sweden. That is what it is about pure and simple.
@@RU-vidisgettingworse. because it is an invasion and our so called politicians are complicit, they are the worst human traffickers making huge money , parasites
As a Turk, I hope you guys fix your immigration problem like we have here. Most immigrants sucks and only some are respectful. I totally understand y'all
@@ibrahimmohamed4013turks in turkey mostly dislike turkish diaspora due to their unrealistic views for erdogan and turkish economy and general political situation. so we know turks in europe are not well integrated. but also a fact, they are not that criminal like syrians, iraqis, marocs or africans.
You my friend , have no right to comment about immigrants . Germany has suffered a lot , and if you feel bad about it then you can get back to Turkey , but wait , that's not your homeland either ! All the way to west Mongolia , please.
Ingen is Norwegian, and Norwegian and Swedish are closely related so I wouldn't be surprised if he can speak fluent Swedish (and Danish by that logic as well)
@@MihailFromRomania I know that, so I meant that there is no cultural substitution or illegal immigrants in Kazakhstan and that's a good thing, since most of the population is Kazakh and large minorities are Russians and Germans + I didn't mean that Kazakhstan itself is ugly, but it said that its cities are ugly to me, my friend , because there are not historical/traditional buildings in its cities.
@@user-it9jt7fo7dAs a Russian (nation) who was born in Kazakhstan I can say thats true, cities are mostly ugly (compared for ex to European) however culture is amazing, yes no immigrants cuz we dont have quality of life so developed. Sadly in Sweden and other European countries they have been destroyed by immigrants for years... I hope Sweden will get rid of that
@@user-it9jt7fo7d In fact, Kazakhstan has been experiencing a migrant crisis throughout the last century. In 1989, the share of the indigenous population was only 40%. Until now, the entire north of the country speaks only Russian( So Kazakhstan is in agreement with the Western world)
@@Neko-gs4ip I mean, there are illegal immigration happening on Sweden. And those are mostly people with extremist culture, with their majority trying to force Swedish people to not just accept them but be like them.
...fuck it, any port in a storm. You managed to figure out what's going on in here? I know it's about open immigration but I can't tell if it's _actually_ that bad.
@@Helios8170 As with anything, the media blows shit out of proportion. Does Sweden (and other countries that embraced immigration on large scales) have problem stemming from said immigration? Absolutely, no one's denying it - however, the problem isn't just "muh immigrants are uncivilised and should be deported", it's literally because we, the majority-population, look down upon them and refuse to help them lift themselves out of ghettoized poverty and give them an actual chance to get good wages and respectable jobs. Crime arises when people see no other way to sustain themselves and get nice things by lawful means. Finnish and Yugoslav gangs were a massive pain in the ass during the 60s, 80s and 90s, but they've now stopped - why? Well, because the Finnish, Yugoslav immigrants and their kids built generational wealth that helped get them out of poverty and helped them integrate into wider Swedish society.
My brother in Europeanism, multiculturalism brought us pizza, kebab, gyros and so much more. It has positives and also negatives, as with anything in life. We caused the crime, we caused the "otherness" by not giving them an actual opportunity to get good wages and a good job - believe me, 90% of immigrants I've met have been nothing but lovely, hard-working. The pizzerias in my hometown? Run by Arabs, Turks or Kurds. Three schoolfriends of mine who I like alot? Arabs or Somalis.
wow this is sad i had no idea sweden was in that situation , all strength to them from France , All of Europe face the same challenge . Let us be united in this era of danger :/
I'm not from Sweden. Not even a European. But this makes me feel sad😢. Sweden is always been my one of the favourite countries. Wake up vikings, save your country, your tradition and your nationality. Think what your ancesters sacrifised to make this land great.
As a swede, it's extremely sad and makes me cry to think of what this country has become compared to when i was little. Our culture is being erased by mass immigration and it needs to stop.
@cucginel1941 from Romanian to Romanian,I disagree, the Union is the reason for our development, but it is true that we are forced things we shouldn't be forced.
I'm a mixed Macedonian/Bulgarian living in Macedonia and I recently found out about the immigration crisis in Sweden and how dangerous and wicked is, and this is very sad to hear because none of the people from Sweden deserved this, the government is the real problem, bringing those immigrants from the Middle East, North Africa and East Africa. Stay strong Sweden 💪🇸🇪 Sweden for the Swedes 🇸🇪🇸🇪
Same here. I suspect of "De La Rey", a song in Afrikaans for a Boer general in war against the British. The singer is a nostalgic of "good old days" of Apartheid. Beautiful melodies for horrible messages
As someone born and raised in the United Kingdom with Bangladeshi background, the amount of mass immigration to Sweden and the effect it is having on the country is sad to see. Hope Sweden can hold onto its identity
You guys are the prime example of great immigrants I'm from Greece and the majority of foreigners here are from Albania and you guys are truly amazing, you respect the culture and the traditions, sometimes even adapting them, and work hard while maintaining your own sense of national identity. It may be because our cultures are generally compatible but it's remarkable nonetheless. Greetings from Greece to Albania!
nope, I'm from the west, I have no issues with immigrants, well I do but only the European ones, they tend to blame their issues on others before taking blame, just baked into European culture, no responsibility.
No one except for those with the mind of a fool can deny the evil that is plaguing our countries and civilization. I pray that Sweden will wake from their sins.

At one point its depressing that Sweedes and other Western European countries have sunk deep into insanity but on the other point fact that they are finally waking up brings back that slight light of hope
Same issue in America, I cant walk past a single street without seeing a First Gen Immigrant actively harming somebody, they think just because they were treated poorly in the last country that they can force the same harm unto those of the land they escaped to, Im not saying fleeing a unsafe country for a better one is bad, Im saying that A. the natives of the region are now the ones fleeing, and B. dont turn the sanctuary into the hell you escaped from.

@@ProdKodaayou know, ghettos aren't a Hitler's invention. For example, in the Late medieval times, Jews in Italy used to outskirt from others while living in the same city because their religion tells them so. Jews weren't as europeanised as they are now, and the same thing is about Muslims right now. If we want to preserve our national treasures and keep this country as good as possible, we should know whom we are letting in and in how big amounts. They are criminals not because government is too harsh on them and treats them like trash, but because of the opposite - the government gives them opportunities to come out of any crime without consequences. This is what arrogance and ignorance do to Europe.
This is one of the best songs on the channel I've ever heard. It not only reflects the conflict between left and right, conservative and liberal, previous and next generations, it also shows the issue of cultural and ethnic conflict. The song probably doesn't just refer to Sweden, but it can also refer to many other places in the world, and we may realize many things in life after listening to that song.
Whew, this is interesting, but also somewhat unsettling. It's not like I were unaware of the problems with regard to mass immigration, and I do agree it needs to be reevaluated to an extent, but the subtle (or not-so-subtle) way this songs spreads its message is rather uncanny.
The transition generation between boomers and millenials and also millenials got to enjoy what the boomers and people born before the war built and created, only to fail to pass them to the next generation. We’re the first generation to be pissed in a long time
This song speaks to a lot of people all over the world, not just in Sweden. The feeling of being left to clean up the short-sighted mistakes of selfish older generations.
