Daddabbha Jataka (#322)
All of the animals in the forest are running for their lives! Find out why!
Wat San Fran is proud to present stories taken from the Jatakas, Dhammapada, and Buddhist history. These stories often use past rebirth stories (Jatakas) to reveal the connection between past and present, and illustrate the relationship between cause and effect.
Check out the playlist #AnimatedBuddhistStories by Wat San Fran to explore the complete series.

The lion's roar is so powerful it is able to stop an entire herd of animals. That's why the lion is called the king of beasts. The Buddha's voice is likened to the lion's roar.

Apple is not native fruit to India. It was brought by europeans. Then how come?
@abhijithharimenon9916
@abhijithharimenon9916 Год назад
Apple is probably a loose translation of a Pali word for an apple-like fruit. Also, the events of the Jataka tales need not have happened in India ig. Edit: The Jataka stories are also stories, more metaphorical ig...not exact historical events
