I think that the Taiwanese part would eventually smooth out with further driving. My concern with the german part is the gauge of the wire to the starter. I think that without a fuse it is a major fire concern. If anything this experiment proves that the "Made in Germany" parts aren't always the best and sometimes the cheaper options are the best.
