Challenge accepted and cheers for using my photo in this video. It gives me an incentive to try and get another one on an Analogue Wonderland video. 💪😎👍
Also available in the Arista rebranding. Even cheaper. You can buy a 100' roll of Arista for $72 in many places. 100, 200, or 400 speeds. Many are of the opinion that this and the other Foma films are rated too high in ISO. I don't know.
To a retailer the general price/quality and possible marketing of the film may be interesting. As a user ... I'd like to hear about how it compares to other options (from Foma and Kentmere). It's a traditional and 't' grain mix? What's that like to use?
The only small problem with Foma films in 135 format is the slightly more fragile support... But for the price (less than 40€ for 30,5m), I'm not going to complain much! I really like the look of this Fomapan 200 (That is better exposed at 125 iso...)
I really like this film with ilfotec HC (rodinal wasn't good). The massive Dev chart is completely wrong though for this combo. It's at least double the time/dilution of what it should be. I use ei160, 1+63, 7.5mins, 20c, minimal agitation. From exposure tests I've done, I think this film will pull 2 stops + push 1 stop well with careful consideration to developing the highlights. Yet to try.
I've read from people that Foma 200 is actually more like 125-150 ISO. If so, then what is the actual difference between Foma 100 & 200? Is just a bit more grain? A little better in less light? For some reason, ISO 100 and 200 (and lower ISOs) throw me off because I see them as closer together than 200 to 400 (and higher) for example.
