I love how there's certain songs that Dave will sacrifice a handful of the lyrics for the right scream ... it was also painful to see that big grin shining behind him 😔 RIP
I honestly had no idea he did backup vocals. What a legend, So sad to see him go. You have left a masterpiece behind. The world will always have this masterpiece to carry on your legend. Thanks for such a beautiful performance!
The Foo Fighters are truly one of the last great live bands. They sound exactly the same live as they do in the studio and that's very rare with all of the computer editing and dubstep shit going on today. The Foo Fighters being so strong and genuinely talented is exactly why I love them.
cierra cable Amon Amarth, Dethkolk, King of Asgard, Blur, Gorillaz, most decent rappers, Buckethead, Caravan Palace, GazettE, Kiss, The Red Paintings. Is that enough? Also there has always been electronic music and their is nothing wrong with using a machine if anything scratching a deck is harder as you need to keep in time with the bpm or 2 or more tracks while doing about 3 other things. Guitar is fairly easy to learn. Dude I have a advance higher in music with guitar as a main its not that hard.
ITisCRAIG They didn't edit this album with any kind of tools like the people you just mentioned. Look it up. They did this in Dave's fucking garage. I doubt the people you're talking about have the balls or talent to do that.
Foo Fighters... one of those rare bands who sound just as good live as they do in a studio. Or a garage in this case. Here's to the world's greatest rock band!
Was listening to this song and loving Taylor's drumming as always and then I burst into tears. Can't believe Taylor is gone. You were the best drummer of all time.
This concert was so awesome that Foo Fighters should put the entire show on every streaming media service for free because people need to see pure rock and roll music for free.
the quintessential rock band. you can stay true to yourselves, your friends, your family, and your fans. and still "make it." dave said something to the effect of, "good music will always be out there. you may have to look harder for it, but it will always be there." luckily, foo fighters is one of those very rare great bands you don't have to look too hard for.
I was going through my dads old CDs and landed on the foo fighters and literally fell in love. I don't know what took me so long to get into them but I am so glad that I did, this band is incredible
Me encanta este tema, en general Wasting Light es un disco de otro planeta, no se parece a ningún otro, uno de los mejores de rock que he escuchado en mi vida
This is one of my favorite Foo Fighters songs... Can’t believe anyone gave this song a dislike!! Bucket list to see Foo Fighters in concert!! Love these guys!!
Rain Rain go away come again another day. (old English Nursery rhyme) Used in NIN "Down in it" on the outro Shame, Shame Go Away come again another Day Fame Fame Go away come again another day.
This song is about Dave's father, James Harper Grohl. Arlandrai is James Harper Grohl. The two guitars are a conversation between Dave and his father and how his father didn't listen to Dave when he was growing up. This is the best song ever written by any group. It is so deep.
i think the live performance of a band is the most important thing, if a band cant sound good live but they can in the studio then they arent a good band. The perfomances of the foo fighters are just amazing, thats why they are my fav live band
My friend was calling me so I tried to pause my Spotify but it wasn't working until I realized I was still playing the live version on youtube... that's how good they are live
Ain't that the way it always starts. A simple round of conversation. Became a shameful equation. I flipped station to station. Hey. Don't go and turn the other way. Don't say there's nothin more to say. Come on, hear me out. Hush, hush, settle down. Button up, don't make a sound. Shame, shame, go away. Come again some other day. You used to say I couldn't save you enough, so I've been saving it up, I started saving it up. And when you said I couldn't give you enough, I started giving you up, I started giving you up. You are not me, Arlandria, Arlandria. You and what army, Arlandria, Arlandria? Oh, God you gotta make it stop. Chase all of those memories away, save them all for another day. Don't you remember it was rain that drowned you. Wait! I wanna see if I can say. I wanna see if you can say. I wan to keep all that i can take, I feel much better now. Use me up, spit me out, let me be your hand-me-down. Fame, fame, go away, come again so other day. My sweet Virginia, I'm the same as I was in your heart. My sweet Virginia, I'm the same as I was in your heart. Shame, shame go away, come again some other day. Memories keep haunting me. Help me chase them all away. Hush, now settle down, button up, don't make a sound. Close your eyes, turn around. Help me burn this to the ground. Come now, take the blame, that's okay, I'll play the game. Use me up, spit me out, let me be your hand-me-down. Fame, fame, go away, come again so other day. I don't care, it's all the same, watch you all go up in flames. My sweat Virginia, oh, God you gotta make it stop. My sweat Virginia, oh, God you gotta make it stop

***** if in theory..kurt was still alive..and both went their own way...i think i'd still stick with grohl..just love his lyrics and melody..kurt has been too grudge for me..but who knows, kurt may have also transitioned to the times like grohl and pearl jam...as you get older with your band you tend to mellow out and not be so angry and just play songs to hearts content
The whole show is an imitation of the Beatles - the suits, the high stage of the drummer.. it's realy cool but it's not the normal behavior of the legendary Foo Fighters
