Its proof of Dave and Taylor's genius! With Dave the chords and the structure, and with Taylor because the drum part sounds a lot simpler then it is, because its put together so well and because he plays it so well
My god, lord and master!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving the foo's more than life, felt sick hearing it's the last tour in a long time!! Curt, pat and dave, god's in there own right!!!!!!!!!
+Lars Scheen Jacobsen He does have a very stern look on his face, I wonder what he is thinking about at that moment. "Did I unplug the coffee pot before we left for tour?"
Dave Grohl has the world in his hands, once he said "dreams can come true" as he acomplished every single thing he musically desired, i admire him, and proof of that is the funny way he says "the fucking reading festival" haha i like him!!!
Pat has almost be in his mid-50's now isn't he. I know he is the oldest member of the band. He originally played for the punk band the germs back in the day didn't he or am I way off.
+Dylan Ouellette I will have to look up the Germs, I don't know much about them. I would think the Foo Fighters music would be a far cry from the type of music that they did. Pat is usually over there just doing his thing and smiling. He really seems to enjoy what he is doing, then again how could you not when you look out at that crowd right!
You nailed it. Pat was in the Germs a long time ago. One of the most underrated guitarists in the world. He always has a smile on his face and makes it look soooooo easy.
I've come to learn that I don't like Foo Fighters live. I don't care for the way Groll truncates the verses and yells out "HROUGHWEGO!!!" all the time. It's pretty consistent in every live video I watch.
+JazGalaxy That's because they're not perfect; you can't expect an incredibly polished performance each time they do something live. They just do it for the fun and the enjoyment of playing music for their fans.
Greyface Man Well, I mean, I go to a LOT of live shows and most bands manage to not do what Grohl does, so it hardly "comes with the territory". It's a particular quirk to him. I just don't care for it. Not a criminal offense, I just don't care for it.
It's something that's become more prominent in the past few years. It kinda seems to be his way of getting his breath back haha. There's also thay showmanship aspect, I suppose.
