Something I haven’t seen anybody say yet is inspiring statuary. Turning your food into mana is amazing with the amount of food you’ll get. You won’t be able to gain the life off the food because they’ll be tapped but it’s still great
This is exactly the upgrade video I was looking for. I wanted to look at upgrades for my precon but sticking with the lord of the rings card pool. Nice work!
I second this! I really like how on point with the theme of the deck this upgrade feels, I dare to say it feels even more on point than the actual precon
I love this precon. Feasting Hobbit is probably the most flavorful card in the deck, and I love the synergy with Farmer Cotton in particular. Cast him to create 5-6 foods, then cast Feasting Hobbit to devour all the food and make him essentially unblockable… seems solid!
Some extra cards ive put into mine would be witch of the moors, which capitalizes off of both the lifegain and Frodo's looting. Academy manufacturer really ups the value and triggers a lot of those artifact entering/leaving abilities like Rosie Cotton, nadiers nightblade, and mirkwood bats. Feasting Troll King and Marionette Master would also be great includes.
I am going to second the feasting troll king! Flavorful for the Hobbit, good beater in the deck. I will also add Wicked Wolf because you will pretty much have food when you play it to fight and then continued indestructible when needed,.
Mondak the White Dominus is a good include here. It can even protect itself with indestructible for two foods and will survive your board wipes and double your tokens!
Hi! I have been absolutely loving these videos. I also wanted to ask you, is there any possibility to add a small section dedicated to cards you cut or the reasoning behind some of them?
Good suggestion. I will consider that next time! I have the videos premade already. In the decklists on moxfield, I put the cards that I would take out in the side board.
The movie looks of Sam mad Frodo is actually spot on. Remember that in the books they state that 33 years is when they’re finally and adult. So 33 is like 18 for humans. So Frodo is human equivalent of like 25-27
Excellent choice of background music again. Really fits the cheerful and hopeful Hobbits of the deck. May I ask what the track at the beginning is called?
I recommend Throne of the Iron Agent! Munching a Food to have your opponents lose 2 life (1 for each of your commanders out) and gain 3 life for one mana feels pretty not bad 😎
hear, hear... the problem I'm having is... what, of all the goodies within, do I take out?!?!? Soo many options! Dang! Edit: have you given thoughts to: Academy Manufactor, Elanor Gardner, Disciple of the Vault? Just to mention a few. 🤠
After checking the list I realized that now there are only 33 lands and with little ramp, do you think this deck can manage or could we consider adding a little mana generation?
@@PubStompMTG Makes sense, got into mtg deck building just recently so I really appreciate it! I hadn't thought of card draw as pseudo ramp for low cmc decks. Ty!
I would say power wise, Riders of Rohan because of how crazy humam tribal is in there. And upgrading it a little will make it more powerful. Will post it tomorrow
Oh, nooooo... Frodo is still considered to be middle-aged for hobbits. He looks like a teenager along with sam. Hobbits mature around 30 years old, and frodo is like 50 years old. He shouldn't be looking like a teenager. Sam is 38, okay, that makes more sense but still looks like a teenager. Im comparing the art to the lore of the books. Sorry, I can't be trusted 😂
