Food Diaries: romanticizing cooking, new recipes, and baking, WIEAD 

Beautifully put together! My mom has a similar challenge because when she would cook she would be used to making alot for more than herself but since moving apart she ended up putting alot in her freezer and became unmotivated with that routine. Now that it's coming upon the colder season she's started making incredible meals for herself and the unhoused people in her neighborhood. I noticed she's really feeling fulfilled and enriching herself more thoroughly as well 💞

I found one of the biggest things that made wanting to cook for myself easier was learning better knife skills!! It just makes all the prep so much faster and easier, so making recipes with a lot of chopping seemed less daunting. Now when I'm feeling lazy I'm more likely to make a more balanced meal with lots of veggies because instead of taking 15 minutes to prep it takes 5

I've been making turkish eggs so much!! They are so easy, nutritious and delicious. I super suggest chinese chilli crisp that you can buy from any asian store to make things quicker and it is soo good and you can add it to so many things
