It looks like a root beer float would be a great spice chaser, with the acidity, sweetness, and bubbles of the soda combined with the milky, sweet, cold, and viscus iced cream, you could even change the soda type for more acid like Mountain Dew or diet Coca-Cola, one thing I’m not sure of is what iced cream flavor would pair best. (Edit) perhaps even adding ice and blending it together making the creaminess and viscosity even throughout

If you all didn't catch it, the "TRPV1 receptors" he mentions at 3:30 IS in fact, the super complicated protein name he mentions at 0:26, "transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily v member 1" So I guess he kept true to his claim, and made a presentation on "transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily v member 1", or at least briefly mentions it.

I think a good combo would be to spray lemonade with sugar, then drink milk or diet coke OR eat ice cream and let it sit in your mouth and when times get tuff get some sugar water right there to stop it. Also I think muching bread helps cause when you have a lot of it in your mouth it kinda like mixes with the capsaisin and makes it less worse, but it doesnt get it away :)

You can have like curd mixed with sugar. Curd contains casein and its acidic like 4.5-5.5 in ph scale but not as acidic as lemon juice and adding sugar just makes it sweeter. In India we do this most of the time but not for driving spice away but for getting good marks in exam

Bread or just carbs in general does not lower the spice after taking it but I remember reading or hearing somewhere that it reduces the spice while eating the spice like an example would be asians like to eat rice with pouring soup on the rice itself to give it flavour and it does help lower down the actual spice level of the food taken if the soup poured were spicy. So all im saying is that I think the websites that propose carbs as a way to reduce heat has got it abit sideways i guess

jumping into liquor was a mistake. you have to understand a drinker that goes to like a bar or something & orders hot wings. the drinker is already buzzed & somewhat numbed out to pain. I can surely pound out about 3 good beers & be ready for some wings.

Aside from doing this genuis stuff you could also slowly build up your spice tolerance. I used to eat spicy good all the time and it git spicier and Spicer and I could eat really hot food and enjoy it at one point.

Eating more food helps with dealing with small amounts of hot sauce or hot peppers so it makes sense for bread to be recommended. I'm only guessing though since instead of bread I just eat more of whatever I'm eating that day. If I put some hot sauce in my taco and I accidentally put more than I could handle then I just eat the next taco without any hot sauce. It works. But I doubt it will work for bigger amounts of extreme hot sauce.

I think figs can help. My brother ate a firecracker pepper and he doesnt do well with spices so he drank milk and ate bread which didn't work but a fig stopped it completely if he had a fig in his mouth. Once he swallowed it, he felt the heat coming back but not as spicy as before. I dk if it will work as well with spicier peppers but I hope you give it a try.

It seems like ice cream would be good too. You get cold, milk, sweetness and it's thicker/solid so it stays in your mouth. Also, another trick to help with the heat feeling, inhale with your mouth but exhale with your nose.
