If she saw what we do, she would at least try to help herself. But she must convince herself it’s not that bad to justify not changing. Her standing still in the air conditioned airport and is beet red and absolutely exhausted. She can’t fit comfortably anywhere and can’t walk 2 minutes without hyperventilating. To anyone living in reality this would be terrifying enough to even attempt at getting better. But she’s living in delulu land where it’s not that serious.

I've traveled a lot in Asia, and those countries, for the most part, are not made for people even half her size... Not to mention, and it was shocking to me, being openly Judgemental is OK in a lot of places. I don't think she knows what she's gotten herself into.... Shocker I'm a 6'1 black woman. If my hair is not in the Afro, it's in some kind of colored braids. Plus, because I'm a professional, I typically dress really nice and wear 👠 high heels everywhere I go. People would open mouth stare at me everywhere I went. Some people even got brave enough to ask if they could take pictures or get me to pose with their kids. She ain't ready.

People in Thailand will not hesitate to call you fat to your face and tell you that you need to lose weight, especially older women talking to younger ones. It’s not considered rude (at least to older generations) it’s out of genuine concern and shock.
It’s absolutely nuts watching a person who is not old and who doesn’t have a physical condition be unable to walk through an airport without gasping for air. Obviously I know morbid obesity is an illness but it’s still just bizarre to watch.
Oh this is wonderful 👏 I've been to Bangkok and it's beautiful BUT it's so humid and transportation is not good (lots of tuktuks that can't handle the weight but needed to navigate narrower streets). The weather can also exhaust a normal human who's not used to it much less Chantal so I'm betting that she won't leave the room much. The main point is women. Many gorgeous women (with normal BMIs) walking around and that's a literal nightmare for Chantal. Imagine Salah's head on a swivel looking this way and that and Chantal seething and unable to walk. Finally something to break the monotony.

I have flown with Qatar airlines before (common way to travel between Australia and Europe) and they really do go all out with the hospitality without you paying anything extra. We got breakfast and dinner plus tons of snacks and coffee. My kids also got toys and plushies and activity books.
It is the best airline in the world. And airlines besides American are so much better in terms of service - which includes full meals etc. Of course as long as it's not a budget airline

International flights tend to give you full meals, especially on nicer airlines (in particular, ones like Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Cathay Pacific, Turkish, etc). I've flown hundreds of times and got nice hot meals even in economy class. :) Edit: Just got to the part in the video where she talks about Qatar -- yes, you get nice meals on that airline. Even very short flights give you a meal!

Sometimes you can end up with an empty seat if you book the window & the isle. If the flight isn't to capacity, people tend not to want the center seat
No. The seat between them was available. That happened to me in flights more than once. They commented on that, too. She fits in 1 seat. The issue is her girth and seat in front of her, more than anything.

She is going to get stared at so much in Thailand. A normal western woman is considered overweight to them, let alone a woman of her size. She’ll also struggle with everything being built for smaller bodies. Can’t see her doing much exploring as everything’s on foot. (Or tuk tuk which I’d pay to see)

It’s actually a good idea for her because she may not fit in those tiny bathrooms very well and getting up and walking down the isle in a plane then having to wait to pee isn’t fun and the toilets re usually tiny. I’d think she would have a really hard time even sitting on one and we know she can’t wipe! If she wears a diaper and only pees she can get to her room, remove it and shower off. That might also be why she was saying she couldn’t wait to get to their room to shower.. maybe it wasn’t just she was sweaty because most of the places she went had AC. Just an idea..but I bet she did..makes sense to me.
I really hope she actually goes out and enjoys the sights in Thailand. I've been twice to visit my dad and his wife, and it's a beautiful country. It does involve a LOT of walking and coming from a bigger gorl it's really worth it. Really hope she tries out the local food too, not just big chain restaurants!
She is in Thailand, one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Thailand is one of the top countries I would love the visit. However I am aware there is a lot of walking in Thailand and it is EXTREMELY humid. This woman gets sweaty and tired from walking in her apartment. But hey, there's tons of cheap food in Thailand right, and that's all that's important

On international flights they give you 2 meals plus snacks. The quality of the food is also pretty good. Most Airbus A320/A330 have the flight trackers with their media suite too. Planes are dope now, minus the leg room
I flew British Airways in 2016 and was amazed by the food and drink, the service, and the plane itself. It felt so luxurious in comparison to flying on a US airline.

When I went to Thailand I just bought an e-sim before I left it was super easy and unlimited data for like 20 dollars! The e-sim is actually way easier than having to purchase a physical one

He had next to no papers on which to travel so perhaps they picked a place where he didn’t need a visa for a short visit or something. I think it is possible for Saleh to go to Thailand. There are two Russian RU-vidrs I watch who have visited there recently. It's one of the few places that accept their Russian passports. They have to do what Foodie is doing, live in one country several months and then go somewhere and can come back and renew their visa.

That’s the whole reason he and his family escaped to Kuwait because Assad was jailing people running from service. Of course Kuwait was inundated by similar types of people and they certainly were chock full already of refugees. They are therefore considered stateless and as such don’t have the rights regular citizens have including being issued a passport. My understanding is Syria revoked the passports of everyone who ran from service so Sally shouldn’t be able to travel anywhere including Thailand

The 1st flight was very short, but Salah was stuck in the middle seat with Chantal on one side and a stranger on the other. The 2nd flight (the 7hr flight), I think they strategically purchased the window and the aisle in hopes that no one would take the middle seat. She always gets lucky with stuff like that!

Yes, traveling overseas, you get lunch or dinner and a snack included in your flight, depending on how long your flight is. When I flew from JFK to Bangkok, it was 14 hours. Lunch, dinner , breakfast, snack and drinks
