I've always wanted to do a D&D podcast and now it's here! This is gonna be a bi-weekly thing. So every second Tuesday we're gonna be uploading about an hour episode. UNLESS we have a Fool's Gold animated episode coming out that week, then we'll simply move it to the week after. Along the travel he talk about a bunch of his "best friends" he met "a bit before" entering the settlement of Teek and as we go we find out that Rooster definitely IS NOT A KID as some of those friend he talk of like little sibling figure are either old folks of or been dead for a WHILE.
I made a similar character! A young tiefling boy who's mind simply blanks each time they think in time, like when someone says "I will meet you tomorrow at noon here.", they cant remember anything about 'tomorrow' and 'noon'. So Spoiler, this character I made is from the future, and with their future memories tampered, it made them completely unable to remember anything related to time.
Dingo: "If you like silliness, go give the animations a watch" That's how she gets you, it is all fun silly times... and then wabam, the emotions and feels hit you with a lvl 20 rogue crit sneak attack
"The town mortician is standing by" I picture him casually strolling among the contestants with a tape measure and notepad taking coffin measurements. XD

I imagine kor just drinks the resurrection, chugging most of it, burps a bit of a flame. Their pupils fade to gray and back and then there’s a snort like someone just woke up in a cartoon while the toughest guy in the bar looks over utterly flabbergasted that kor just chugged most of it and didn’t collapse to the ground for a few seconds and doesn’t seem drunk AT ALL after drinking it
O shit, i had thought about that in terms of "Wow picking up a pair of kid sized adults like that was a pretty casul display of strength, I wonder what thats about.... I forgot that Rooster is Uber Dense! that she picked him up with one arm is horrifing!
Okay, usually I can’t really listen to Real play D&D because they either drag on in some parts, have too many people so I struggle in knowing who’s talking and what they look like, or they’re just generally boring for me. This has absolutely none of that. I absolutely love this.
SAMEEEEE. If it’s every two weeks, that’s enough time for the fandom to animate a bunch of this before the next episode comes out. The Fools Gold community is thriving.
I love the instant sibling energy of these two! They're _both_ like young kids where Kore is the more """""mature""""" older brother at 11 years old and Rooster is the still wide-eyed 9 year-old. I'd love to see one more player who could act as a blue or black(purple 🐢) bile to their red and yellow. This was such a great session one! Really felt like a classic adventure start. Felix is great at weaving a fun environment! Those guards are about to be introduced to what a real rough night looks like! 😅
Marco absolutely named his sand racer after the barbarian from Honor Among Thieves. What? It's a good movie, as it captures the experience of a DnD campaign, the shenanigans mixed with earnest character arcs, and you can tell each and every dice roll and player and DM decision.
an "Entirely desert continent" is an... interesting geological concept. Like, the closest we have is Austrailia, and even it has areas near the coast that receive regular rain. (the center of it is basically one big fucking desert, though)
Same with the Sahara desert--basically continent size, but even it had the Nile and other coastal settlements. The interior is basically endless desert though

With the naming conventions his players have when suggesting something to him I'm suddenly more understanding of Felix's willingness to inflict trauma on his players. XD Looking forward to the next episode!
As soon as I heard "he's a half genie! what a fantastic start, an exciting race and then the world building and npc intoductions as they go through the town, and then the mysterious start of there journey at the end with there encounter with the knights. I'm so excited for the next sessions!
First off, love the odd couple of the cheery and fun-loving genie man and the surly and mission-focused demon man. 23:56, 42:41, I like how Marco is overtly kind even if he is still competitive while Rooster is pure jealousy and reluctant admiration. 1:07:17, 1:20:25, Meanwhile, while Marco and Rooster have their sort of reluctant friendship going on, the barmaid, Amelia, m having a thing (or perhaps, her just having a “type” for colorful crocodilian demons with a stoic yet gullible demeanor) was also very fun.
"You could probably drink meat if you really wanted to" reminds me of a bit of an old inside joke. Friend group had a little roleplay going on, friend's character went to order a pint of mead from a bar but had a typo and ordered a pint of meat instead. I'm pretty sure instead of just ignoring the typo we had the bartender actually give her a glass full of meat.
I love how immediately when talking about Jesika being Rooster's wife we got to see Dingo experience a variation of one of those questions that get men in a lot of trouble, "What color is your wife?"
