Join us on a football journey as we look at the history and home grounds of a former Football League club now playing in the 11th Tier of the English pyramid. This is the story of Durham City AFC. Filmed on DJi Pocket 3 and DJi Mini 3
I do like the crest of Durham AFC. The green landscape, in which the pitch is embedded, looks inspiring. What a place to play football, even if Durham has fallen so deep. I guess football is a constant game of up and down, so perhaps Durham will now again go on an upward trajectory.
There in Wearside Division 2 now like you say Fromthe Northern League then Wearside League division 1 then relegated again then they ended the season with 9 wins WOW
The season they finished with zero points was not because they lost every game but had a 6 point deduction. However they actually beat FC United of Manchester at Gigg Lane & I think Whitby Town? at home to nullify the points deduction. The team was almost exclusively made up of students once the regular players had jumped ship, & it was noticeable how the DCFC fans never got on the players' backs despite the woeful form.
