On May 27th, The King's Academy held its 50th Commencement Exercises for the Class of 2021. Olivia Henley and Brooke Hayes, favorites on the TKA stage for years, sang one final duet. Enjoy!
Brooke Hayes has attended The King’s Academy for 4 years. She was a senior superlative in vocal arts has been active in many of The King’s Academy Theatre Company’s productions, including leading roles as Margaret Johnson in The Light in the Piazza, Jo March in Little Women the Musical, and Cinderella in Into the Woods, and most recently as Fantine in Les Misérables. Tonight, Brooke will graduate with distinctions from The Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts in Musical Theatre and Vocal Arts.
Brooke will attend the University of Alabama to study Musical Theatre.
Olivia Henley has attended The King’s Academy for 7 years. She has been a regular on the Page Center’s mainstage for many years now with The King’s Academy Theatre Company, appearing Molly in Ghost the Musical, Alice Bean in Titanic the Musical, Ellen in Miss Saigon, Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, Madame in Cinderella, and most recently as Eponine in Les Misérables and she was nominated for a national high school Jimmy Award. At our recent Senior Awards day, she received the Outstanding Citizenship Award. Tonight, she will graduate with distinctions from The Smith Family Conservatory of the Arts in Musical Theatre and Vocal Arts.
In the fall, Olivia plans to study Business and Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
