I’ve seen a lot of these audience performances with Kristin, but you know this one is the best, because even the band claps at the end. When that happens you know you’re amazing.
Bar none, Lindsay is the best singer Kristin has taken from the audience ever. Girl needs to be on Broadway now. She needs to singing on Disney movie tracks yesterday! Her power, her tone, there is such soulful beauty in her voice. Big love for Lindsay.
@@stephaniewilliams3791 she hadnt actually! Her broadway debut happened recently in Phantom of the Opera! This video really was incredible because it was before her career took off and she’s done absolutely wonderful things since. My personal highlight was her playing as Cindy Lou in Carmen against Anika Noni Rose. Lindsay is a star and this was a lucky rare performance before she rose.
People should remember that this song was written for both Kristen and Idina - and Kristen is so cool how she will tweak her performance to the level of the person singing with her. It's so sweet that Kristen gets the biggest kick off anyone when she finds a singer who nails it.
There is one line in For Good that is my absolute favorite of any song - "I do believe I have been changed for the better". If people can get this line and it's harmonies right, I am impressed. They did.
Kristin is so talented and humble, and like you said, a true star. She's done it. It takes true talent, confidence and graciousness to share the spot light. It sort of reminds me in some small way how Celine, featured and shared the stage with a young Charice. Confidence, talent and graciousness.

I was there for this performance, it was just as amazing! Kristen really is a true role model for girls looking to be on broadway or a singer. Her voice is unbeleivable and she's so upbeat and positive it's contagious.
A 2012 video and still holds up. Also, for people that think they have "plants" in the audience, when they ask for volunteers, it's very unlikely that someone who doesn't know the song or know how to sing well would volunteer lol I'm not saying it won't happen, but why go up on stage to set yourself up to fail? They pick "good" people cause they're the ones raising their hands.
Lindsay Roberts is phenomenal! A beautiful voice and decidely determined to be heard. Kristin is a real class act...able to admit that she might need to give "this other child" a chance. (I love her expression). Kristin's instincts were right. Each woman a talent unto herself. Electrifying!!! Thanks Skippy Pylon for sharing this.

Lindsay, you've got a gift. I sincerely hope you find success in New York and that we have the opportunity to hear you sing many, many times in future years. Keep singing and keep positive. Mock me if you want... I've never seen Wicked. I've heard it's great. I'm just not into musicals, but I think that may just change. I was on RU-vid watching one thing and saw the trio performance with Kristin Chenoweth, Carrie Underwood and Christina Applegate. Oh such lovely talented ladies. Then I saw one duet with Kristin and a young lady singing For Good. Then another and then another. Then found this one! OH MY LORD ARE THESE LADIES GREAT! This one with Lindsay Roberts has to be my absolute favorite so far! Wow! I could watch this one over and over again.
I love how at 3:53, right before the bridge, Chenoweth shakes her head and throws up her hands a little like, "holy hell I get to just sing this part tonight and don't have to hold nobody's hand."
She (Kristin) must have realized how good and how spot on Lindsey was later in the song, because she made the most surprised and joyful expressions toward the end!
Phoenix. I checked her tour dates, and she's not even coming to Arizona. I wish she would. I am a huge fan of hers, but never got a chance to see her perform live.
She's not famous and Kristin didn't hear her sing before inviting her on stage. She has been in productions though. She will be famous in not too much longer though. She's amazing.
