For those asking about revive translations: I won't get that video out until next week because I just left for a family vacation. Until then, I'll see if Blabber and I can translate the Jormie theme song.
I love running up to my own teammates, screaming once, then running away. I did this to my friends and it was hysterical. Just a wild Gretar YEEEAAAAAHHHHHH then yeeting away, hilarious
use his combat taunt where he headbutts his hammer like it’s nothing and then screams at the top of his lungs like a weird banshee spider creature trying to find a mate
One Karma Boi well Gretar has more of a psychopathic tone sort of like shaman where he plays with his food, hulda has more of destroy your soul and wipe you from existence tone where she wants to destroy you on sight. But I think it’s agreeable that both of them are intimidating in their own right. I wonder what the fight would be like if they both took on Thor?
I thought the female was good but the male has so much conviction in his voice it give me goose bumps. They may not know how to optimize the game but the character team does an amazing job on occasion.
I think they just worship Ragnarok as a whole, so both the Gods and their enemies (like Fenrir, Jorm etc). They're like Christians who want the rapture to happen.
@@josephrobinson6171 Ragnarok is the end of all gods. They cannot worship both as well as the enemies of the gods, that's insane. If you wanna compare Norse Mythology and Christianity you may as well worship Satan and Jesus at once.
@Holy Wasser at the new breach map Stor. They have Jörmangandrs remains. And if Jörmangandr is dead, Thor is dead and if Thor is dead then Ragnarok (the Fate of the gods) has already happened
He sounds soo angry and i fucking dig it i was kinda dissapointed to hear the female honestly cuz i wanted the same or even more crazy shit from her But atleats the hammer skins look cool
No it's tiandi in disguise that guy is on voice drugs.EDIT:I forgot to mention that the new male jormungandr is really tiandi that gave up on being a communist and started taking meth every hour.
I love how they used the runes in the right way. The rune Algiz as a shield, since its a protective rune. The rune Uruz, on Ragnarok, that has to do with raw power.... I LOVE IT.
I like the year 3 heroes have an uncanny obsession with certain concepts: Vortiger: Obsessed with the abyss (possibly referring to hell as a dark void) Hitokiri: Obsessed with souls (as if he's considered himself death itself) Hulda: Obsessed with the end of the world (as if she truly believes the world must be reborn) The next hero will probably have a weird obsession as well
They might be the Four Horseman. (Note: this is just a theory, some of the ideas are obviously not as well put together) Vortiger was war, with his past of being a servant to Apollyon. He also destroyed both the samurai and vikings at Eitrivatnen without even losing the fort once, showing his prowess in battle. Sakura was death, with all her references to souls and ghost, as well as calling herself a 'shinigami' (death or God of Death). And her executioner axe is also another implication. The Jormungandr are famine, due to the story-mode showing us how badly Apollyon's attacks made them suffer. They had constant famine, fighting over what few supplies remained. This new clan of vikings may be desperate and fantical due to a lack of food and wanting to end their suffering or have a new start by means of the next Cataclysm. Hence their fanatical, favorable view of the Ragnarök and wantint it so desperately to happen. And the last horseman can be one of two things. In some theistic views, it's 'pestilence'. But in others, it's conquest. And with the things we know so far about the Wu-Lin, they're obviously conquest. They're coming west to find new lands to conquer for China (or whatever the For Honor equivalent would be)
While the female voice feels solemn and contained, the male voice feels like he’s literally moments away from dying a violent death. It’s like the woman is spitefully, cleanly purging an ending world of unworthy souls whilst grieving for its loss, while the male is fully, utterly aware he and everything he loves is going to end, and uses that sorrow and fury to finally, truly let loose on those that he feels deserve the wrong end of his wrath
Drizzt Iley well at least with the female, you can actually understand what she’s saying. For Honor has a trend where the female characters voice lines are clearer.
Female: Anything you can do I can do better, I can do anything better than you! Male: No you can't, Female: Yes I can. Male: No you can't. Female: Yes I ca- Male: RAGNARÖÖKKK!
They explained this during the reveal stream: they believe that Jormungandr killed Thor and survived. The sea serpent took his hammer and gave it to its followers
I wouldn’t think this character would be screaming Valhalla and by Thor’s hammer if they like almost worship the world serpent and are eagerly waiting for ragnarok
Well in the beginning she says "LoOK aT tHE DRaGoN!!!" Then "OOOOUR TIME FOR PIIIIZZZAAA!" I can't really translate the rest but there are background singers at one point who yell. "SEND IT!"
Nah, just using the deep end of her voice range. It's like how I'm a tenor, but can speak/sing way down in the basso profundo speaking range if I really need to.
The female sounds like she's trying really hard to sound intimidating and the male sounds like he's trying really hard to kill you and everyone that knows you.
I love how we had this dark brooding choir edgy boy, then a death obsessed asthmatic executioner... Then we just got this fuckin' screamy fanatic who's named themselves after the world serpent.
