32 years - this is how long Peter Csobádi worked for Karajan. As Karajan's press secretary, Csobádi knew what Karajan liked. And more importantly, he knew exactly how to meet Karajan's expectations. "Karajan expected perfection. No mistakes allowed", says Csobádi. Csobadi is probably one of the few people who - apart from his Karajan's family - knew the "boss" the best. He accompanied Karajan many times on tour. He even tried to play the role of a diplomat - mediating between the arguably two greatest conductors at that time: Karajan and Bernstein.
