Great looking truck, best looking Black Cherry one i have seen. Color is kinda growing on me looks like a different color every time you get a different view.
Wow I might have just found my dream color. That black cherry is sharp! God as my witness I will buy a 389 off you CASH in 2024. Until then, I watch these vids haha.
Steve: That color is amazing. Hoping Congress will pass the F.E.T tax exemption till 2021 Dec that will be in the new relief package. That will save a lot of money in the purchase of a new tractor.
They used to do a black cherry that was black paint and then cherry paint spots in it. They would do cherry top and cherry fenders. Haven’t seen one of those for a while.

Another excellent review! What I think is funny, these are new trucks yet the hoods always squeak when you open ‘em. Why aren’t they lubed at the factory? Or is it just me? Cheers Doc

I drove the ole 359 baby blue thats in my profile picture. she was an 1985. was trying to by it from the boss man bout 10 yrs back, but he wanted way to much $$$$dollar signs $$$$ for it at the time & she had bout 3--4million on her. she got around, lemme tell ya. i put 750 some thousound on her the years i drove her. she ended up on the Ute indian reservation next door in Utah.
How comes they did away with the toggle switches, I always liked the toggle over the rockers. But as always Steve, Stellar truck, love the truck specs & your videos.
Just out of curiosity what is the cheapest you can get into a 389 without all the extra chicken lights, crome and boxes.just paid off my international pro junk and kinda curious.
@@SteveCarbone got a ?. Seen a truck on here with Black rims. Can you paint the alum rims any color to match. Or Polish the alum the spray that clear stone guard over them so the shine last alot longer
389 is beautiful truck but not practical anymore docking and street in most areas not big enough for that much wheel base trailer too long anymore usually barely half loaded so makes pos volvos and all short trucks a must own
I tried calling you to talk to you about a new truck and your mailbox is full and cannot take any more messages. I then tried to call your sales line and their mailbox is full. So I called back and pressed 6 for the general office and they couldn't take my call. You just lost my business man!
Typical day for my cell phone, start with an empty mailbox and end with a full one. Cant speak for my office and honestly dont think we have an option 6 when you call in. I always always say call or text, if the call does not go through the text always will and I can call you back. It might surprise you as the #1 389 salesman in the country, i am on the phone ALOT! Hate that you couldnt wait or call back.
