I got this from 6ku's site directly. Bike is good so far, but for some reason the rear hub slowly came loose within a few minutes of riding, and I had no idea about bikes at the time so I took it to a shop to have it looked at.
I'm liking the new channel. Seems to have a bit of a Neistat flair on the cinematic end, only a bit more real world. Long way from the days when Chad would be out in the parking lot holding a GoPro at arms length. Those were the days. That was real life for sure. Now you're living the dream.
Thanks Xplorer Steve. What is "Neistat flair"? Not familiar with that term. But yup. Needed to step up the RU-vid game. Hopefully in a good positive way for you guys. Vlogs seem to be such a huge thing now days. It's been pretty fun giving you guys an inside look at what we do.
+For The Adventure Neistat is a guy in NYC who won RU-vidr of the year-2016. He uses a semi-pro setup on his channel and is also known for stepping up the RU-vid game. To be fair though, he is a pro who had a special on HBO "The Neistat Brothers" When I said Neistat flair, I meant your channel also has a high quality cinematic look and feel to it. Great audio too. Your stuff is quick moving and that keeps it interesting. You two are very inspirational. Take care.
+Mason Miller Ha! Too funny. We have been working on perfecting and developing our filming and edit style for years now. Its always an evolving process. Have you checked out our earlier videos?
you brothas got soul for real all the way down to the music, Yes I bought this 6ku fixie black on black n im diggin it ride it like crazy big ups to yall all the way from Boston 617 area to be exact. Holla n keep doin big thangs!!
Look you get what you pay for but certainly a good tip in buying any bike make sure it is level entry therefore you customise and upgrade for years to come and actually end up having something worth riding and enjoyable. Personally I wouldn't pay less than 1k and start from, but with a brain and checking everything that comes out of a $200 bike box is fully adjusted, greased, tightened etc
you guys are funny as hell. you just got my subscription. just bought a 6ku. cant wait to build it but i gotta get those tools. especially the hatchet!
no grease at all - check not using a torque wrench - check not tightening the lockring - check no foot retention at all - check congratulations! you assembled your first bike like a pro. cheers.
+Nikita Green I don't have a tightening tool any recommendations I mean I'm just using it to ride around the city and I wanted to know if there was anyway you could do it without the tool.
+Brian Rendon do you skid? you'll notice a loose lockring when you are skidding. you can mod old pliers or take your bike to your local bikeshop i'm pretty shure they will do it for free. or just get your own tool they aren't much $$$ at all.
Had mines for a few months and I destroyed the rear gear. The inside of it shattered or something and the beeds were falling out. Bent the wheel rod also and flipped over lmao. Currently trying to upgrade the parts if I can
What like the 3000 jump cuts? How do they function in the real world if they cant manage to just spit out a single sentence? There's like four plus edits in the middle of each thought... its not that hard to come up with what you want to say with like 30 seconds of thinking before filming and just say it.
I should note that the race nut on the head set was cranked down so tight out of the box that it ruined the top portion of the head set ,and it's impossible to replace since the sizes are wacky.the only way to get a replacement headset is from the manufacturer, and of course they don't answer the phone👎 buyer beware!
Like your new Channel. Its a good idea to seperate the Vanlife from the rest of your adventures. And Guys, do yourself a favor and put some grease on the Seatpost, otherwise you mess up the Bike. Can you give us a update whats happen with the Vans? I see big Tires on both of them, what else have you change? Stay safe.
Stephan Kluge. This is great feedback man! Good ideas on updates about the vans. There have definitely been some upgrades. We will start a white board with video ideas on this stuff.
hey am new to the channel but can tell that you guys are making amazing vids are having fun with them witch is most important with making vlogs. keep up the good work guys 😁😁✌✌
Yes every part made of metal on your bike can rust so make sure to clean it regularly, especially the chain. If you are interested in our best budget fixie review, check it out on our website. fixiemessenger.com/5-best-affordable-fixed-gear-bikes-2018/ Cheers :P
I'm loving the show but I want more bug cruising, I mean come on you got the shades and the beards and the cool bugs ,now Cruise , yah know dawgs do it for the beaches ⛱🏖😎
You guys are so inspiring. Chad, I've watched you since the beginning. I've been wanting a van/rv since before you started posting videos- but you've helped solidify my passion. I just haven't had a way to make it happen yet... Odd question: do you live in the van IN the shop?
Awesome! So glad to hear Brandon! Keep that passion rolling. Thanks for the positive feedback. I have spent many nights in the van, IN THE SHOP... But now I'm living the shop life. I have a living space in the shop now. I'll give you guys a tour eventually.
great video. I just won a pure fix cycle off another RU-vid channel Martinzvlogs. just was looking at other Fixie videos and yours came up. I'm gonna check out your other videos and I already subbed. thanks guys.
Great unboxing and review guys. I love your video style and I think your work is very nice. It's neat to see how you "make content" and I'm trying to learn from your videos. You know you're doing good videos when someone is getting ideas from you, right? I must have missed it in the video but how much was the bike? (Just kidding) Keep up the good work guys, love the new channel.
If the bike hurts your back the fitting isn't the right one for you. Sizing charts don't tell the whole story about what is your fit on a bike. If you are interested in our best budget fixie review, check it out on our website. fixiemessenger.com/5-best-affordable-fixed-gear-bikes-2018/ Cheers :P
