Today I went Foraging for Chanterelles! Later on I cooked them up in a delicious Moose Stew!
I love gathering my food from nature, and it is pretty easy to do with a couple of guidelines. This is one reason that I love traveling and cooking in my Fleetwood Bounder Motorhome. You can go to where the food is! With the autumn, depending on where you are, there are an abundance of mushrooms available for harvest. One of these is the chanterelle mushroom! In this episode I'm going to hunt these down, and cook an epic meal with some harvested moose. So I'll be making a moose, chanterelle, roasted vegeable and sour cream dumpling stew!
