With 20% armour bonus you can have up to 2016000 armour. With 25% armour bonus you can have up to 2100000 armour. Personnaly, I went for a more offensive variation for my tank build, 3 Gila and 3 Badger with the Pointman (Perfect Vangaurd/Protector), Ammo Dump (named Badger Holster) and the Sweat Dream as my main weapon. The shield might not be as sturdy as the Bulwark but you deal more consistant damage while still providing great buffs to your team. You also get 3 defensive mods from this setup, which I used to stack resistance to elite mods (currently sitting at 36% RtE) which are great when facing the thoughest ennemies the game can provide. Done every possible content with it (Raid, Legendaries, DZ) successfully and I had great times soloing heroics and CP4 with it. I realy recommend it!
3 piece Gila, 2 piece Golan, and Emperors Guard named knees give you almost 2mill as well as a possible 29.5k regen from attributes and 3% regen from gear pieces putting you at ~90k armor/sec which is fucking nuts.
I run mine with 4 def, 2 skill with technician. I use the artificier hive with my shield and it heals it for 81% of 14 million health😱. I use perfect vanguard with protector as well. Yes I lose a bit of armor but the hive buffs my shield as well as any skill my teammates use. It doesn’t only buff your shield while it’s on your back, if you’re close enough to your teammates the hive will buff their skills as well. It give any DPS skill build a 40% buff for 55 seconds, the hive will refresh that buff before it runs out. I think you should give it a try if you like using support builds👍
I've been running three versions of this tank build since launch of WONY and it is the most fun to me. Just sucks because no one wants a tank build in the raid so I can't wait for the new raid.
Never run tank builds but this one seems so interesting that I had to grind and get a similar build working...coming from a glass cannon build, this is so much fun!!! Great job!

Ok I'm no noob to the Division but trying to keep up with these new terms for the meta is annoying. Wtf does cc means? So many damn RU-vidrs use this but I have no idea what the hell they're talking about.
@@OutlawMerc414 cc means crowd control, which is kinda like controlling the enemy behavior by applying status effects or in case of a tank build it's just taking care, that enemies will attack the tank instead of the teammates by going toe to toe.
You can max out your total armor for your watch and then have true 2 mil along with a different glove and differ knee pads maybe like a set of 2 of something else. Idk love the content man keep it up
just curious, you have more knowledge on the build front than i do, but if your not using status effect, why not use gila? it has total armor, health, armor regen, and perfect vanguard? if i missed this in your video, my apologies.
I like this! Soon as this maintenance is done I’m building this. Thoughts on Forge named holster for 10% shield health when using then full shield not the bulwark thing?
Great build man although Ive been kicked from groups using this build god knows why? The amount the bonus Armor comes back I think they must of thought i was using some sort of glitch
That's not possible, the maximum flat armour you can get right now is 1680000 and the maximum bonus is 25% with full SHD, 3 Golan, 2 Badger and 1 Gila, which leaves you with a total of exactly 2,1M armour.
@@jamesjones-jf2goI already got there bro, my main tank build is at 2016000 with 3 Gila and 3 Badger (with all god rolls on core attributes), the only possible combination to get an extra 5% armour would be to switch for 3 Golan, 2 Badger and 1 Gila. This leaves you with exactly 2,1M armour. Its impossible to get more than that. You've got caught in a lie, sucks for you...
What are you on? You keep saying "Technician" and pointing to "Gunner"?!?!?! And your breast plate does not make you invincible for 5 sec, it make your shield invulnerable for 5 sec. Invulnerable mean it does not take damage, it wont make you invincible at all. Check your intakes, there might be a spice in your diet your not going well with....
I do something similar, but with True Patriot as the mask/holster/kneepad/gloves for debuffing enemies. I use the crusader shield and banshee pulse. I run galvanize on my backpack as it works in conjunction with the banshee pulse. Vanguard is great for your group mates...but it does nothing for you. With galvanize, you are able to gain 40% of your armor as bonus armor, and group mates can also get it if they're in range...it is range dependent on who you blind/confuse/ensnare/shock. That buff lasts for 10 seconds...no cooldown at all. So its a nice way to pad the teams bonus armor when I notice the vanguard buff drops...I make sure I'm near someone and call out for a pulse to let the team get closer to me to gain some extra buff, too when I send out the pulse. I'm able to keep everyone's armor bar in blue almost the entire time during an encounter.
I think Vanguard isn't that bad at all for solo. When you draw fire from a whole room, that 5sec invulnerability is a blessing! And it also works great in DZ! ^^'
I feel like technician would be best with this,since you don't really use any of the gunner spec buffs.The one extra skill tier willmakeyour shield even tankier, and the extra skill repai will be usefulwith either the artificier hive or healerdrone
