The nice thing about You Tube is being able to go back and reference what you did, and where thing were. Those hard vacuum lines can be a a pain, especially if they start crumbling apart on you.
@@HeFella never been there, as much as I like my little truck I'm not sure I'd trust her to make it that far lol, I'd have to bring the f250 on that trip 😂
@@HeFella 😂 right!. I'm worried about blow by too. The old engine has 243,xxx on her. The pistons and cylinders looked pretty good but #1 had a little bit of carbon deposit on the top. Not really burning oil or anything so who knows. Bought it cheap for a learning process and to start a youtube hobby so it's done what I wanted out of it....but man o man has it kicked my butt!
YDOC Productions hey thanks Cody, I just saw that. Who would have thought we’d be gaining that many subs. I never would have gotten over 17 without you and Zane and Jason giving shoutouts man. I appreciate that so much. You’re right on my heels and will be there in the blink of an eye, next up is Jason too, we’re all climbing up, that’s so cool!
Sparks Fire and Baling Wire hey Jason, have you been getting comments from this Tyler guy too? He’s hit my last couple videos, grown from 48k subs to 72k subs in a few days and has zero videos 😂. Just wondering if he’s spammed you too.
Great job. please show putting the inner fender back in when you get to it. Also I have the Ford Motor manual - no torque sequence for upper intake manifold, so you're good with that
I filmed a part of the reinstall on that fender and I'm still editing that section, not sure how well it came out. I'll be sure to try and get some more good angles if what I have didn't come out right and I'll get a better video of the install for you. It's just loose right now, didnt want to button it up until I knew if it ran right 🤣. Still waiting on one more part right now 🤬. Thank you for the info on that upper, I looked for a good 10 minutes before I just tightened it up. Hopefully the weather holds up and I can get close Saturday but its supposed to rain.
i just posted a video that included a quick view of dry fitting the fender and the footage was not that great. I will get you some good footage before this project is over when im on final bolt up, just wanted to let you know that im still fighting the truck and editing a ton from last week
Right on man! Thankfully that intake was easier than the exhaust manifolds! If I’m not mistaken that’s the last big part to be installed besides the alternator, brackets and pulleys right? Also is it possible to remove a lot of the emissions parts in the engine bay, like the smog pump or catch-can for example, or would that just mess with the electronics too much? (I’ve never done it before, so I have no clue what I’m talking about🤣)
YDOC Productions it really was one of the last big pieces.which is scary because if something doesn’t go right it’s a big part to remove it to fix my screw up 🤣🤣. you know I’m pretty much still learning myself lol, and I keep calling that part a smog pump but they list it as a “air pump” 🤔so no telling 😂, but as to removing I’m not too sure either. I know that someone removed the carbon can and egr and cut all kinds of sensors and vacuum lines out on the lightning and the truck runs “ok” I think...but I’m not sure if you need to chip it or reprogram something. I’m too nervous to do it either 😆.
YDOC Productions hey are you getting spammed by this Tyler guy too? Last few videos he comments almost instantly, has 48k subs and no videos...strange. Edit..he now has 72k subs lol
3rd Coast OBS I’m happy it’s getting easier and easier, and ya the Tyler guy comments on my video before the video has been up for even 5 minutes. My guess it’s a computer generated thing🤷🏼♂️. Or the dude genuinely loves our content 🤣😂
My 4.9 is smog deleted and cat deleted. Egr is still there and functional although it’s restricted. You can delete the air pump and won’t get a check engine light or anything like that. Just make sure you keep the necessary vacuum lines and solenoids hooked up
I am currently doing this exact same job man, I think you mentioned you live in Baytown, Texas. I'm living in League City and could use your help bro or could use a supervisor and a beer drinking buddy while I fix this 94 f150. What do you say bro? Need your cell number.
