This thing is horrible for ford mustangs. I’ve tried for an hour straight and it wont read. Why in the hell does this even have to be an issue

Good afternoon. So my first question is.. are all the other sensors able to be programmed, second is.. is it a new sensor or an original that was previously on the vehicle. **if its a brand new sensor more often than not the sensor i.d needs to be entered into the vehicles data in order to properly identify the sensor/ sensor location. this tool is more of a relearn tool rather than a programming tool.(but has been known to do some programming, but that is more on the high line tpms systems) if you had a brand new sensor installed there is a very hi chance that it needs to be programmed. sometimes driving the vehicle with the sensor installed for 20+++ km will also learn the new sensor to the vehicle(not always) If you suspect the battery in the tpms sensor you would need and Autel tmps tool or equivalent to know if the battery inside the sensor is ok. hope this helps.

@@JLsAutoSolution thank you for taking the time to help me. I don't really have an answer. I just got the car and the light was already on. I used the tool right after I got it. The front driver's side tire reaponds quickly. However, when I attempted the pass/front side tire it didn't jot go so well. I move it around as suggested in the video and couldn't get it to work. I don't think it's the tool because it wouldn't have worked in the driver's side tire to began with. I might just have to replace them.

You guys didn't position it correctly 2 antennas Parallel to the valve for GM Vertical for Ford

@@JLsAutoSolution I hope you understood that and I didn't get too long-winded I was just trying to help out I used it on my cousins Silverado and on my F-150 and it's totally different you hold it sideways on a Ford and point it straight at the valve stem with a GM model

I had to move it around the rim on either left or right side of the valve. it has not failed me yet. make sure you put a battery in it.:P

when i was at ford it was always straight on.. the pickup on the tool is also on the tip of the tool.. so from point of view straight on is how its suppose to be used... but maybe holding it sideways works also.. thanks for watching

Sorry to hear that. mine has been working great. probably got a bad one, this does happen with stuff from china, there are good quality ones and bad ones.
