Thanks for this video. My seat belts were stuck under the seat and damaged. I had to remove only the passenger side seat to replace the ones that were damaged. Your video solved my problem.

I have a CMax energi. I don’t know if that’s the model you were working on there. I was hoping to see what it looked like with the seats removed, but I couldn’t see that . I’m trying to figure out if it would be worth removing the seats or not on the energy to make it a better car camper.

Thanks for the guide! Hoping you might also have a rough number as to the combined weight both rear seat assemblies. I use my C-max for delivering luggage and at this point don't have a need for the extra weight/wasted space.

Thank you for creating this video. My seat release is broken and I need to remove the seat to get at it. Which seems like a catch 22, you need to release the seat to get at the bolts but you can't remove the bolts till you release the seat. Do you know how to release the seat?

My 2014 Mk2 C-Max has quick release rear seats.....
