Hi. I have a late model c4 when doing the governor air check it just bypasses and blows back out of the fluid in gallery. If I block the fluid in gallery and do the air check I get the correct sound. Is there something wrong? Maybe not enough air pressure to overcome the governor spring? I have double checked everything and don’t understand why it’s not “farting “ as you say. :).
thanks a million for your c4 videos, they have been VERY helpful. I am having a problem with my air check on the reverse clutch, I get no movement when I apply air, however when I remove the thrust washer from the pump and redo the air check, I get full movement from the clutch. Can I go without a thrust washer?
Thanks for your post ! No you can't use the tranny without the washer, There's many thickness for the washer of the pump, try with another selective washer
yup you were right again lol! changed to a thinner thrust washer and now the air checks all are working. Now to put it back in and do a road test! thanks again for everything, I couldn't have done it without you!
