When you removed the spring from under the strainer was there a spring, plunger and a checkball ? The plunger is concaved like a checkball would go there. I was on the ground on my back and the spring and plunger spring out. I can not find any checkball and need to know if one goes in before the plunger. Thanks for the vid.
Hello, I'm replacing the servo oring on the cover because I have a leak either coming from there or the extension housing. Does the extension housing have a seal when you took it off? Didn't see it in the video. Thanks!
DO not leave that check ball out from under the filter. some c4's don't have it but yours does keep an eye on it.it little check valve cost me to get it rebuilt.
Great video! I recently fixed an oil leak on the shift shaft on my c4, i had changed both seals and fixed the leak, only i think i didnt replace the shifter shaft correctly because i cant get the car in gear, i get reverse but no forward gears. Is there something springloaded that i missed when removing it?

dave f on my first day of southwest technical institute . My engine overhaul instructor held up a ratchet. And was clicking it and ask what’s that noise. We all shake our heads didn’t know. He replied a mechanic going hungry that’s what that sound is
@@edpropst4854 Hi Eric any chance that you are going to upload the remaining videos. You did a great job explaining everything and I would love to see you upload the other videos. I am about to start a rebuild and it would be really nice companion to my rebuild.
