Thanks for the information. I don't think my dealer is to corrupted but they sure act like they have no idea what's going on (they act STUPID) About any questions I ask. Been waiting 4 almost a year now for my maverick XLT hybrid
Hang tight... honestly this is more a Ford corporate issue than the dealership. Ford has been horrible for getting info to their dealers. If you have had a order in for that long, there is a great chance you will get a notification soon. Maybe a late 2022 Or 1 of the 1st Hybrid 2023's. Keep us updated.
Looking at the Ford website they have increased the cost on the 2022 models. XL now starts at $20,995 instead of the $19,995. All 3 models are $1000 higher for the hybrid. Possibly early prep for the 2023?
Correct... everyone is making margins on economy cars Now, but pre-covid margins were very slim. I think it was a mistake to yield the entire market share to Japan & Korea, but the Maverick is an attempt to bring a strong economy vehicle back & stay true to their promise to develop trucks & suv's.
There has now been a new update on ordering the 2023 Ford maverick. As it was stated in the video August 2 was the date for ordering eight Ford maverick but now it has been changed again to September but it hasn’t been finalized on what date in September.
Ford has not satisfied owners that the fix for now 26 and increasing examples of this model who’s vehicles that have had their Mavericks catch on fire. The issue is that they first have not disclosed how many of these 2.5 engines have failed . The number could be in the hundreds or thousands. I’ve attempted to get the current number but Ford has not disclosed it and not provided any more information. They did state that the cause of these fires was the catastrophe engine failure. Ford is now facing a very large class action suit for not only this engine but other engines that include the ecoboost engine used in the Ford Bronco. Be very cautious about the future of hybrid model of the Maverick until Ford fully addresses this problem and takes action on a full recall to fix it.
I have a recall out for Both mine. It seems to involve the active shutters & both have appts already which means engineering already has a solution or they wouldn't have scheduled the appts. It is not related to the battery at all which would be a bigger issue.
