Hi Sir, im planning to buy Ecosport Diesel variant. But there are leaks seen over the internet about the all new ford Ecosport which is planned to be unveiled in the first quarter of 2021. What is your say about this? Should i wait, or go ahead with the current variant?
Sir my friend wants to buy a sub 4 meter automatic/amt mini suv n after filtering we have shortlisted EcoSport n brezza,but the thing is that that interiors of EcoSport have been changed now n now they r in two tone black n beige which doesn't look good as compared to earlier all black also they have removed android auto n apple car play.On the other hand now brezza all black interiors look better then EcoSport n they also have android auto n apple car play but it's available only in diesel n his montly running will b hardly 100 kms.The on road price of EcoSport is 13 lacs n that of brezza is 12 lacs so what should be finalized in this scenario.
The best part of EcoSport AT is it's transmission. Aapko bilkul bhi pta nhi chalega kab ye jawab de jaaye. Haan agar aapki car warranty mein hai to it's ok but if not it's cost you more than one Lac . Mine EcoSport AT runs only 18k and transmission ne jawaab de Diya n jab Maine ford waalo se pucha ki aisa kyun hua hai to btate hai ki 3-4 years baad automatic Ka transmission bol jaata hai.
I was considering, but now I will go for manual ecosport, and if I choose automatic I will go for amts..I know itz negatives but still it won't hurt my pocket
Hello Gagan. please tell me since I love navigation which is not there in ecosport. how does Android auto fare with inbuilt gps which is not related to mobile network.
Dr Sahab - The car was already driven last year at time of facelift launch and this time only covered to be a part of video review. For android auto - The phone needs to be connected to usb and the same is not to my liking. I like inbuilt navigation feature which is not present here.
Ford ecosport sport mei black colour is my first priority but company said high maintenance hoti hai ,second white colour confusion please reply which colour is long life and easy to maintain please sir reply ?
Go for white...black bahut jaldi ganda dikhta hai and white me zyada jaldi cracks nahi pta chalte...and if you are going for top variant S tab toh white with black accents looks very nice...specially with those black roof rails...you should check the model in ford showroom
just like any other car, by pressing accelerator to increase speed. Paddle shifts yes add fun to it, by taking over control but its not difficult in Automatic mode too
Are 17 inch tyres with low profile dangerous on Indian Roads. Why hasn't Ford done anything about it till now? What is the point of having segment best safety features while the basic tyre design has gone wrong
Same engine is used in aspire and Figo automatic...I think those cars will be faster in power delivery and response and slightly better fuel efficiency than ecosport
I got my new Ecosport Titanium+ petrol automatic in May 2018. Driven 2000 kms in last 3 months. all superlatives used for the car are right, no doubt this is a premium car. But I am getting an avg. mileage of just 7.47 kmpl. Consistent between 7-8kmpl (worst: 6.66 kmpl, best:8.1kmpl) Not only me, but internet and social forums are full of Ecosport mileage problem reports with the 1.5 l Dragon engine. FASS people are not able to identify and spot the real problem. Any expert tips on what should be done? Awaiting responses...
1. Avoid Sudden Throttle response'in Auto Car 2. Try to Fill Fuel in Morning and if possible from any COCO Outlet and not beyond Auto Cut-Off 3. Tyre Pressure should be as per recommended pressure psi4. Expect the Mileage to improve gradually and as what mentioned in vid - 10 Kmpl is the benchmark which can likely get in after the annual service.
all above bullet points are being followed sacrosanctly by me till date. not even a single diversion on these fronts. no results..same mileage each time. have good experience of driving AT too, as i was owning honda city CVT since 2013, but City consistently returned mileage of 11-12 in city and13-14 on highway.
If 8 km/l is in city with AC, there's nothing wrong with your car. Mileage in city will be low for torque converter automatics. If you don't know this, torque converter connects engine and wheels through oil. There is no direct mechanical connection. So there will be energy loss. New torque converters all have a lock up clutch which mechanically connects the engine and transmission. But that clutch will engage mostly in highways only. In city, you'll be shifting through gears always and will always be running on fluid coupling. You'll get an almost similar mileage to the manual in the automatic car on expressways as the torque converter will be locked when doing constant speed on highway. In all other cases, it'll give 10-15 % less mileage than the manual.
Yes, with 95 BHP Power it would be most powerful in segment. But for 3 cylinder engine, the vibrations needs to be checked, as unlike Ecosport it wont be coming with balancer shaft

Is it ? as i got info about low gear mode and without any paddle shifts in Trend Plus from Ford authorized dealer. Is your car 2018 make or recent changes been done ?
Hi Karan, I just went to ford showroom and dealer confirmed that it doesn't have padle shifter in Trend plus variant. Can you please confirm or share a video of your car. I am looking forward to purchase trend plus variant in case it has. Thanks
