Clearly working my way through your channel here lol. I've started to build a few cars and sold them halfway through. I much prefer the buy a car and completely rebuild it. About 3/4 of the way through a rebuild at the moment. I got to about 7 mins into this video and started laughing because I agreed with every word you were saying. And how you want your car to be nice like the top spec cars your around alot of the time, i'm exactly the same unfortunately !!
I appreciate the views, it all helps 🤣 What car are you working on at the moment? It's so funny. I was fed up of the Escort when I sold it and didn't want to look at another project but, now I'm in Saudi, I really miss tinkering with cars. I'd love to have a garage and a project car of some kind, even something really basic. I miss the challenge of making up little brackets and bits, and trying to find ways to improve even tiny details of the car.
I've got a Series 1 106 Rallye which has been trying at times. I very nearly did made it a rally with it last march but I didnt realise how bad the engine was until the week before ( long story !! ). I've then changed my mind a few times on choice of engine and ended up doing pretty much a full rebuild.
@@thmotorsport88 oh nice. I love the S1 Rallye. Might just be my favourite Peugeot ever. What kind of spec is it? Would love to see some pictures. It took me six years to get from buying the car to the first rally, so keep plugging away 😁
I had two Saxo VTRs and 106 Quiksilver when I was younger and very very nearly bought an S1 Rallye as my first rally car. I should have also bought an ex cup car my friend had but wasnt brave enough to get a loan and do it. I bought my current one unseen off ebay. The guy delivered it for me aswell so the first time I saw it was when it pulled up outside 🤣
@@thmotorsport88 a friend of mine nearly had a Rallye as his first car. It was only £1000 but he said no 🤣 I definitely see the appeal in the platform. They're super light and there are so many parts out there. They're great fun to drive too
