The 2 PCM modules in the video were installed in a 2008 4.0L Explorer that has a no control over the throttle body when the accelerator pedal position sensor (APP sensor) is pressed.
They fixed faulty wiring on the TPS a few months ago. Wiring form TPS/motor to PCM tested good. A different throttle body, and APP sensor also resulted in no change.
A test jig was made to test the throttle body and pedal sensor out of the vehicle and control the throttle motor was verified to work.

I'm having a problem with the Ford Explorer here in Brazil, it lost acceleration and nothing makes it come back. The module has already been replaced and all wiring has been revised. I've already tested it with another TBI and another accelerator pedal and it didn't work either. The car has been parked for three years because no one discovered the defect.

I have a 2014 Ford explorer XLT where is that module located

It may look different on a 2014; the pcm may only have 2 connectors and be smaller overall. It's likely in the engine bay, I'm not sure of the exact location.

My throttle body motor clicks non stop when I turn the key and won't start the explorer. When I disconnected it, truck starts, but runs very poorly. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Unwrap the throttle body wires and see if they're melted.

I have that same throttle body in my 2005 E150, 4.6L. About 3 months ago I replaced it . Everything was working great. Now I'm having an issue where the van stalls intermittently, very often, especially under heavy acceleration. Codes I get are P2105 (Throttle actuator control system-forced engine shutdown) and U0300 (Internal control module software incompatibility). If there is a communication error going on between the PCM and the Throttle body, how do I determine which is bad?

Check the tb wires. Expose a few feet of the wires near the tb and check if any insulation is melted or worn through. It's a common problem on many fords.

These throttle bodies will through that code for allot more than a bad wire. I've seen excess electrical interference from old/aftermarket coils do it, bad control modules, bad gas pedal sensor, bad throttle body sensor, stuck throttle body, dead battery causing loss of module memory (must be updated by dealer), and other issues. Hopefully its something simple but you may need a really experienced technician for that one because it can be tricky to diagnose exactly what's causing it. Its a parts cannon target for many techs

Have you ever seen code p061f? Having issues. Ive had to repair the wiring at the tps sensor and the coil. Still have the code.... new pcm has been installed also. In a bit of a bind. 😂😂, thinkin i got a bad refurbished computer at this point
