Another hint on cleaning balancer...use a bit of WD40 or other similar spray along with a scotch-brite type of pad to clean it. It's faster and doesn't erode the markings easily. Use a remote starter button and have it near you while under the vehicle, much easier and you won't get up/down all the time. 👍

i was told Ferd balancers and hence timing marks can twist out of place if thats the case , i was told to adjust timing for maximum vacum. then turn it off while hot, it will probly drag a little , so then retard it a touch and it should be good
