Just added Katzkin leather to my 2018 F250 and could not have done it without this video. This is by far the best one I found. I even left the back seats in when you said that's how you do it. Fingers are raw but it's done! Thanks for the help!

This is the very best most detailed video on katzskin installation. This is a tough project but if you watch these videos carefully you can get it done. I found instead of just counting on the orange clips molded into seats zip ties worked way better then hog clips. This guy is a true pro and it might take you longer what he makes look easy.

I did this to my XLT Lobo, custom black and red seat covers after watching your video. I never did any upholstery work before, but after watching your video three times I ordered my custom leather and went to work. It turned out great thanks to you. Thanks for doing this video series..

This video series is excellent. I do have a few notes for others: I did not see you put the cover on the front center jump seat headrest, though I may have missed it. I found that I had to shrink it with my shopvac to get the cover to slip on. I tore a hole in the plastic bags that were covering the foam, dead center in between the posts. I stuck my shop vac over the hole in the bags and the headrest did not shrink much on its own. I squeezed down the top end and the vacuum caused it to hold it's new smaller shape. I was then able to work the cover all the way down. As I worked it down, I would squeeze the foam and the vacuum would hold the new smaller shape, allowing me to slide the cover a bit further. After I got it on, it took a couple of minutes to decompress back to normal. I didn't have any luck or need for the vacuum on the other five headrests, just the front center one. If one didn't have plastic on it, a produce bag from the grocery store looks to be made of the same material and should work well.

Just did my 2020 f150. Only problem I had was on the front seats, The head rest guides had to be removed. My kit had a leather top that would not stretch over the headrest guide. The rear seat upper part of the seat was vinyl and it stretched no problem. But you need to watch this before doing your seats. Also you can bag the foam and use a vacuum to shrink the foam. Works well for tight covers. This guy has this down to a science. Oh and the J clips suck. LOL you need really strong fingers.

One other note: I have a Supercab rather than a Supercrew as show in the video. I had to completely disassemble the rear seats and make a few more cuts for the pivot bolts as the covers did not have the wrap-around provisions as shown in this video for the Supercrew. Other than that, the seats are pretty much the same.

Why are you cutting all the old covers instead of just removing them? Just wondering if the old covers can be saved or not. Cutting definitely looks like the fast way to go, but it'd be great to save the old ones.

Time. The installer gets paid for the job, not by the hour. We didn't have need to save them, so he cut them.
