Just did the rear breaks on my 99 F250 super duty 7.3l. Been driving it for the last 6 months and didn't realize how bad they were. Passenger side both pads were into the backing plate and there was no inside of the back of the rotor. It was into the "ventilation's" on the back. Only had it 6 months. Somebody was really beating on the breaks before I got it.
I’ve got a 2015 power stoke and have been thinking of some mods. What would you do first? Nothing cosmetic. Mainly turbo, exhaust, etc. thanks! EDIT- found your top 5 video. I’ve been watching a lot of your vids. Glad I found this channel! 👍👍👍👍👍
ford is so strong it seems to tow everything that v10sure takes along time to get going down highway speed 25,000lbs i need to stop way better this is what i need i wish they would pay me to try those breaks i say to myself anything is better than this your truck is so nice anyway your video was helpful thank you
How do you like the power stop brakes after 5 months. I’m due to get some brakes soon 120k first set bu I agree I do not like the brake dust or else I’d go back to factory.
The hardest part of my install was the break in phase, damn cars kept getting behind me.....lol. also been running them for about a year... literally no dust....
Your truck looks funny with the wheels sticking out so far did you get the wrong offset or is that on purpose and what is the function of the wheels sticking out so far other than to throw road debris at everyone . Do you ever do safety checks your brake were way to far gone not safe.
High Five! Completely agree! The deep dish rims look butt ugly on a Ford Super Duty 4WD truck.....and not practical...makes the truck non functional off-road. He should put that crap on a Chevrolet 2500 or GMC 2500 truck...the ones with IFS axle + low hanging frames = poor articulation and poor "breakover angle".....resulting in stuck truck in mud and snow on uneven ground off-road.
hey i got a question for you! i have a 2015 ford escape 2.0 EcoBoost with 122k. recently when i first start my car and i usually let it idle for about 3 minutes and i put it in drive and the car jolts a little bit! if i put it in reverse or neutral its all smooth! once the car warms up everything is smooth like coming out of a store start the car put it in drive and its smooth only when i first start my car, my transmission was rebuilt at 53k and now has 122k on it, last week i did do a transmission drain and fill on it and the transmission fluid was dirty and black! but it did have a little red color to it! and the transmission fluid didnt smell burnt. it seemed to fix the problem start the car in the morning put it in drive all smooth! i think the problem is coming back when i put the car in drive its very slight jerk, do you think i should do another drain and fill on the transmission to get more of the dirty fluid out? any advice? oh yeah no check engine light on.
First Time Viewer! Hey.....your truck is a Ford F-250 Super Duty......a man's "Built Tough" truck.....not a Chevrolet 2500 or GMC 2500 little girl " car like" truck. Put the MAN type rims and tires on that Ford! Go with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac 285/75R-1 (35.1x11.2)...OR...Nitto Trail Grappler 37x11.50R-20.
I have the same exact truck, but its a 2019 with 4,000 miles. I'm getting brake dust already. I put aftermarket wheels on my truck that are chrome Ion wheels with only a plus 18 offset. Factory is at zero. This guy on the video has way to much offset that will cause bearing issues, and it looks like a dune buggy, Lol
lmbo @ dune buggy. That look is butt ugly......and stupid set up for a 4WD truck! Although......might not look bad on a Chevrolet 2500 or GMC 2500 truck with IFS axle....cause those are little girl "car like" trucks anyway.
Brakes pads are upgraded to carbon fiber ceramic material instead of oe semi metallic brake rotors are drilled and slotted instead of oe flat face. Definitely a brake upgrade
Are those the ones they sell on ebay ill give it 8 months and your going to need new rotors again they warp not good cheap rotors and pads been their done that.
Would you buy the power stop z36 extreme duty brakes again? Or would you buy something else? I have a 2010 f250 super duty 6.4 diesel 4 x4. Only 36 k original miles, 12 years old. Never did brakes yet. Does ford make a coated rotor? Thanks. Jim
Bro totally follow me on the gram bro, gonna post my truck dudes for the bros bro, dude brake dust is bad bro, bro right there is the dude brake bro dust dude
