The jack I had at the time is very heavy and quite cumbersome to use on the deck. I generally tried to avoid getting it out unless absolutely necessary.
You probly could of jacked up the front of the truck once it was on your bed an got the fence out ,I had the same thing once an did just that ,good job an de safe brother.
