I went with the 208 Gti, coming from an Abarth. The ford has really nice seats but the pug has one of the nicest steering wheels and interiors at this price point, better even than the A1 sport. The S1 would be my next car for sure though!
I bought this car today, the speed dial viewing thing is bulls hit, I could clearly see the dials and the centre digital speedometer. you can move the steering wheel up down back and forth. i cantn believe how many idiot reviews say you cannot see the dials. it's a complete ,myth, trust me I nearly didn't buy it coz of these idiot reviewers.
I think the gap between the Fiesta and the 208 on the interior aesthetic department is far bigger than the gap between them two on the speed and power department. I mean, the 208 is so much good looking, comfortable and has so many more features (tested and prooved by myself), than buying a Fiesta just because it performs better would be a huge mistake. Want a car that truly performs better than a 208? Get a VKW Passat, get an Audi A5, get a Ford Mustang, I don't know.
When "the better all round car" loses to the car with the worse interior, lower equipment and the inability to be anything other than a sports car (try doing a 500 mile drive in a hot hatch that can't be driven gently).
It's a matter of taste, I personally really like the fiesta grill shape. The only thing that makes me like the fiesta is the exterior and the driving over the 208.
