6 years later…still relevant!! Thank you 💪🏾

Thanks for this video. I just removed the switch for my suburban passenger seat back that would not come back up from being totally reclined. thanks to your answer to bigbell42's question of "how did you know it was the switch that needed to be replaced?", I figured it must be a problem with the switch because it would work one direction but not the other. Also, I did not hear any electrical "click" or "whining" when moving the switch. So it seemed like no signal was getting to the motor. After banging it lightly on the garage floor and putting it back in, it works! This saved me a lot of time and money trying to figure out the problem. I'm sure that the switch will need replacing eventually, but I don't have the money right now, it bought me some time. Thanks again and keep up the good work!

You other two switches were not working, you said in video you would check the wires later. Did you ever figure out why the other two switches didn't work when you reassembled?

How to remove the cover? I unscrewed the front screw, but it is extremely hard to remove the clips. You omitted that part in video.

how did you know it was the switch that needed to be replaced? my passenger side seat does not go back and forth and I have checked all the fuses but I dont want to have to buy a switch if I dont have to

I have a 2017 Ford focus and the recliner only moves the seat on one side. Any idea what to do?
