The mediocre Indian will not appreciate these kinda flimsy reviews all they want is how the car is and what it has to offer in 10 straight forward lines and that is it. This review is more like the one the car enthusiast loves about, yes there is that Jeremy Clarkson kind of banter and feel to it which is nice but unfortunately will not fit in with the Indian crowd and thus make it useless. I personally love this review as it is different it's refreshing in a a sense but at the end it's disappointing as well to see the Indian reviewers are copying a style from someone else and once again it fails to fit with the crown as people chant "over acting" It's a shame.
Freestyle is the most capable offroader CUV every made in the Indian market. My friend and I test drove Ford Freestyle Petrol as well as the diesel varients on a proper off road track in Himachal Pradesh and it feels like the car is just gliding over the off road track. The engine power is stunning. The built quality is absolutely awesome. TCS works amazingly. It's an allrounder car which you can take to any road. The other features like ARP, ESP given in this car makes it the most value for money hatchback of it's segment. Hats off to the Ford Engineering.
@@bleray5668 I had tested the titanium+ in both petrol & diesel. Diesel engine is really fast it has 215 NM torque. Has 4 cylinders very responsive motor. But you can go for petrol as well depends upon your usage. I would recommend you to take the test drive yourself...
From a drivers perspective, which is a better drive, figo blu or the top end frestyle, both diesel I'm talking about! If anyone else can shed some light on this, please do!
The only car review channel in India that at least tries to inject humour in the review. It's almost insulting that you have channels owned by big publication media houses where the sleep deprived presenter tell you 10 times in a 7 minute video "the steering feels good to hold" I am looking at you auto car and overdrive. Humour is the reason why top gear lasted 4 decades

For the first time I felt that video and audio quality has gone down and expected PD army to show tests on the ARP feature in the sambhar lake or at Run of kutch. Hope there is another video for Freestyle. BTW what was the mileage you got while driving the car?
kanishq ruhil Rewatch the video starting from around @5:50 even in 1080p there's a distinct humming that isn't pleasant to the ears. All I'm saying is, we have a certain expectations for standards when it comes to a production by PD, and this specific video seemed to be sub-par 😔
@powerdrift I am from jammu and let me tell you the problem with every 3 cylinder engine there...if u r going to nearby towns from jammu you have go over some mountains not hills but big mountain roads and if your Air Con is on and your car is in third the car just won;t go up the mountain...same problem with Tiago, WagonR, K10, Figo the older version, Spark, It doesn;t really matter how much power the engine churns out as long as it is 3 cylinder...it just doesn't cut it...for the rest of India these are all perfect...except for J&K, Himachal, Uttarakhand where these cars just die ...
While we understand what you are trying to say, it's not just about an engine having just 3-cylinders. Even with that configuration, it makes more power than some 4-cylinder engines. The car needs to be in the right gear so as to keep the engine in the meat of the power band. Being in a higher or a lower gear will keep the engine out of the power band, and hence would feel sluggish uphill.
Ford India has the tendency to leave something here and there...... Like where are the bottle holders on rear doors and why didn't they gave adjustable head rests on rear seat?

Not as appealing as the figo and abarth one. The VRS one was exceptional though 😊 A correction to the maintenance part. For the urban cross abarth, second service, i.e 10000 kms service cost was less than 3000 bucks. And if the stupid ac disinfecting is removed, its less than 2500. Kindly correct that
What about the after sales service of Ford? Is it as great and convenient as Maruti after sales? Also what about the parts? Easily available or will they be a crunch to the pocket?
Coming to the service part, agreed maruti has thick dealership network. But, the cheap service is a myth! Maruti rips you actually. My family owns two fords, believe me, their service costs are much lesser than Maruti.
If you want performance and cheap to maintain car, freestyle is your option. Service cost is lower and the 1.5 tdci is way faster than the 1.4 U2 in the i20
Either they will increase the price of Freestyle after the launch of Figo or they will not launch Figo at all because they can't price Figo below Rs 5 lakh. I would prefer the second option though
I hav got the base ambiant model but i am very proud that i have the best car in the price range with with good built quality and safety. Mileage too is good despite awesome engine power

Well now all manufactures in India are able to keep up the competition and to fill a gap within their models.....but this seems quite interesting like the ecosport this can create a new segment.With its new dynamics,new steering and higher ground clearance it will make a set of new fans. But is it really a competitor???We shall wait.

u chose the right car man...the freestyle is best in power than others which ur referring to and in safety also its good coz it has 6 airbags,hill hold assist,tcs etc

God..the reviewer is just horrible ,ruins the whole video . I just came from review you guys did on the CR-V Diesel and that guy was so much better,didn't feel so forced and his review was all around entertaining to watch.

If you are an enthusiast. Buy the diesel nothing like the ford 1.5 diesel engine in this price range. Its an absolute gem. If you want practicality go for the petrol, new 1.2 3 cylinder is good enough to engage.
Free style should launched in diesel as well and why they always forget to provide back seat headrest, I don't know why ford has problems with it and of course handrest as well
