Hello! You videos are always amazing! I managed to change the cambelt following your tutorial. I am now trying to replace the injectors seals and I am stuck at the removal of the cylinder head cover. I removed all the things you said to removed. I have now undone the 8 bolts on the cover plus the two on the back, plus the upper cambelt cover. The cover is not coming off ;(. Do I need to apply more force or I missing something?
Hi Im glad I help I think it's stuck inlet manifold in the cylinder head that's why you can't remove be careful when applying force because it is plastic and can brake easy try to pull at inlet manifold pipes

Hi i just need to take the rocker cover off and take the fuel injectors out but what type of copper seal do i need i have the 1.4tdci and when i search for the copper seal there is siemens ones and bosch ones which have a different hole in them which ones do i need so i can get them before taking the rocker cover off and thanks for the video
Ok my fiend how do you sugest me to remove false air on this same endgine but in fiesta 6...There is no hand cranked fuel pump, and i really dont eonna suck deasel happend to once taste it and it was ah...real bad taste
that is hard remove the metal part fill the hole with oil return metal part but dont tight all the way then start the engine and let it work until you hear compression leaking then you can remove
hello sir , I have a difficulty to pull out the inlet manifold on my ford fusion. Do I have to force it? or normally after removing all the bolts it will come itself. I did everything you did in the video but I can't pull it out. thanks in advance
The manifold is a nightmare the 4 big black oring became bigger with time and its difficult to extract the manifold. No one say that you have to replace that 4 o ring otherwise you will be not able to pust the inlet inside
Ok thanks one more question the glow plug light goes out after 2 seconds but car won’t start if I turn the key and leave it 40 seconds in key switched position and then turn full way it will start do the glow plugs stay active when the glow light goes out until you crank the engine tha or do I need to change glow plugs thanks
I have a 1.4 tdci mk7 2010 reg with full service mileage 160 thousand miles same engine layout I need to replace egr valve would it be worth doing as high mileage how Manet miles would you say this engine could reach thanks
Hi again, I wanted to do a fuel flow test on the injectors befor removing them out, But I could not see how it could of been done` by the time I got to the injectors way to many electrical connectors and other stuff had to be disconnected from the engine as the injectors seemed to be hard to get at, to do the flow test,would you agree or would it still of been possible,if so how ?
Yes it's possible just put some cardboard for rocker cover and reconnect wiring for fuel injector and start the engine you don't need to connect everything and later you can delete the fault codes
Master if I change the injectors for used ones but of the same brand, in this case Siemens, should I register in the control unit, or does the car work the same way??

France. Petite question, j'ai une Ford Fiesta 1.4l HDI de 68 ch problème tremblement au démarrage et des à coups avec perte puissance dans accélération lorsque je roule . A la balise indique vanne egr gelée et injecteur cylindre 2 et je viens de changer la vanne EGR . Toujours les mêmes problème et toujours les 2 défauts à la balise. Quel est ton avis ? Injecteur ? Vanne egr pas compatible ? 🙏
i changed the seals after that my car still not want to start and some smoke coming from 2 and 4 injector will u suggest me what is the problem. it could be injector lock problem
After installing you have to pump on manuall pump to bleed the system until the pump is very hard to press and then you have to crank couple of times to build up pressure to start

On this vehicle you count 1st from the flywheel towbar the timing belt also you can disconnect wiring cable of the injector and you will have fault code whic injector is disconnected
@@mechanicigor I have ford fiesta zetec badge on back 1.4 TDCI MK6 year 2008 W-REG plate I am sure its a Duratorq engine as it looks exactly like yours but mine does not have fuel pump primer bulb, I think they removed them on this later models for this year engine, I have also been told I do not have to reprogram mine , I will be taking the end of the injector apart to give proper clean if possible but won`t be touching the top part where it adjusts the pressure spring, So Am I correct in saying mine won`t need programming? and why don`t these engines need to have the injectors reprogrammed,?
@@piecetoyou8285 I suggest not to disassemble fuel injectors because you will have problems later if you need to replace copper washer just remove injector and cleanet where washer stay and about programming fuel injectors usually newer models or 1.6 or 2.0 have programming if you replace fuel injector or repair this model doesn't support programming
Take one small cap of bottle fill it with petrol and open the air filter and fill out the petrol where air goes to the engine only small amount of petrol and try to start the engine

if the red small lamp between gages is flashing then you have immo problem and something its not connected write with the ecu and thats why its not cranking
Hola, no me queda mas remedio que dar mi opinión referente a los motores PSA que monta tanto la casa FORD como Peugeot y Citroën,. Ya estoy jubilado y desde los 14 años he trabajado en la mecánica de automoción, camiones,grúas, tractores ,turismos etc. y jamás he tenido que desmontar un inyector por fuga de compresión. Cuando desmonte la primera vez los inyectores de un Ford fiesta 1.4 TDCI porque tenia fuga los inyectores me dio vergüenza del diseño del montaje de los inyectores .. Les puedo decir a los ingenieros que diseñaron la cogida de los inyectores con un solo tornillo¡ ¡que no tienen ni idea!!.
