The 1996 and 1997 mustang transceiver rings are different than the ones you demonstrated. They have 3 different strand of wire that come from the coil itself that connect to the circuit board and the newer ones only have two
You should do more videos on these. Especially the older 98 to 2001 expedition and navigators. Many ppl been having problems with these and the dealerships wont touch cars older then 10 years. At least most dealers
I get the code 16 no communication on 2008 ford focus . She resets and run but then loses communication and goes back in anti Theft mode. I need help any ideas so far ... Battery is good voltage and when running charging correctly..... any ideas
I have a 2003 Ford ranger 2.3 went into the store with the vehicle is fine come out try to start and theft light is blinking rapidly, had a company come out to program new keys but when I hooked up to the truck it kept telling them there was no memory??? Help
2009 mustang transceiver reading Unprogrammed key will not alow it to start, I need to know how to program it to read the new key from Ford or replace it with a new transceiver that reads any key like demonstrated with the “S” key in the video any help is appreciated
Can you bench test the immobilizer ring? Or does it need power and ground. I have an immobilizer tool you place around the key cylinder and supposed to flash but it does t and don’t start it’s a 2017 pro master
Whats the best way to 100% determine if transceiver is issue? Im working on a 4 pin ford transceiver; I have a ground and power along with a tx and rx wire if I remember correctly. If I scope them what should I be looking for to determine if transceiver is faulty?
Assuming the scope has enough bandwidth, You'll be looking for 88 bits of data. 80 bits are the key and 8 bits are for mode control. I'm making a vid specific for TMS3705 chip used by ford; Google the data sheet to see specific timing diagrams.
Hi I have a Mazda bt50 and having issues with it, when I turn the key no lights come up on dash apart from that same one mentioned blinking in this video, nor does it start it’s just completely dead. I have put in a new battery and checked fuses all are good. A bunch of fuse are not giving off any voltage but they are not blown, I’m guessing they activate when the key activates the system? the key also doesn’t unlock doors with push of button, have had key checked for fob and that’s working fine, any help would be much appreciated
So as long as the key matches the car and is programmed to the car, the actual ring doesn't matter, or it doesn't need to be programmed. I know it has to be exact matching part number. But you can swap it out and not have to do any kind of programming to the immobilizer ring correct?
My 2002 F150 flashes antitheft light when the cab of my truck gets hot and it won’t start. If I park it in the shade. With the windows down. It stays cool and it will start. What the heck do I replace?
Where is the code from the Jewel Key stored ?. What capacitor holds the stored code ?. I keep having this issue every time I need to disconnect the battery for normal maintenance. This is very frustrating to me and I am making my mechanic wealthy because I don't have a bi-directional scan program tool.
Hi, It depends on the year, make, model of the vehicle. In this case (08 explorer) the ignition PATS key data is stored in non-volatile memory on a micro-controller in the gauge cluster. Assuming you have a Ford, disconnecting the battery wouldn't effect the stored data. The key data will stay in memory even when removed from it's power source. In many cases I'm able to program the keys to customers modules while they are out of the vehicle so that they won't need to perform any additional security programming when they receive their parts. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Aw2-nK79NcE.html The video at this link goes over a security problem and solution on a different 08 explorer.
Hi this is james I have a 2010 mustang and the key no longer working. When I tired to use it it shows not programmed exactly as the one on your video. What di I should do to fix this problem please and thank you
i have a 2010 ford ranger that the keys were lost and I was able to get 2 keys cut that need program ed, can I take the immobilizer loose and program my new keys like in the video? thanks again
I have a 2010 Ford Transit connect the alarm is reading a different code than the cluster I don't know what to do I can't get it started I've tried everything and nothing works
I was told that I need to change the keys but I don't think you need to buy two keys I have one key you need to buy two keys just so you can have the black beepers with no clothes in them to put the codes in this is what I want to know I have a gentleman that has the Ford computer but he says he's not sure cuz he's done it before but with only one key but you have two blank beepers could that be done
This may be a legacy video site on ford transceiver ring so not sure it is still attended. I need a transceiver ring for a 1998 Mark VIII. Not because I have determined it is causing my "anti-theft" related crank but no start but it seems reasonable that it could cause a no start. Can you help? thanks Steve
