Also reminded me of driving my dads 50 ford around a sharp curve then up the hill with 4000 ibs of gravel. 4 speed transmission that you double clutch. Had to get momentum in fourth, get to second climbing the hill. Felt like my front lifted off the ground. Most people cant comprehend the driving skills you have. AWESOME!!!!

(Looks like a Caddy, runs like a Vette) First things first, get a good seat cover, You don't want any oil, or grease on the field of plush blue. My Uncle had a Triple Green, 1973 Caddy, All 12 cousins would pack in it, to go to the Drive In, in Palmyra NJ on Rt73 for $5 a car load night. (3 movies) 12 people, 8 blankets, 8/10 pizzas, 6 folding beach lounge chairs, & 6/8 cases of Yuengling (returnable 16oz bottles) in case we made new friends. lol! Glory Dayz!

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Yeah, I like the 80s Caddie style & always like to see them. They sure rode nicely! It was a tight place to come out of with a heavy trailer. I think the trailer was complaining about the heavy load all the way out. The tipping was hard to see… you just never know what will happen when a load shifts. I had some similar experiences when bringing trailers out of the field, etc. Some wild memories. So the Ford L model will be For Sale, too? Keep us posted my friend.🥰😎✌️😊

No offense, but I have a 1972 Mercury that has more class than that Caddie. 😂 Maybe not more class, but I’d prefer it more than any Caddie. Just my preference. The ole Louisvilles are badass as usual.

I really appreciate that! I'll do my best and thank you! The Mack is still apart unfortunately and also it doesn't turn right well and it's a bit long to where it would have made this a bit harder I believe. But yes it would have climbed the hill much better!

Love Ford, hate GM. Worked on the L series from '87 to '98 when they ended. Never had any interest in GMs even though several of their engines found their way into Fords. Best memory: Prepping the last(1991) C-900 our dealership had to sell. Neat trucks. Cadillacs were just as much a dead thing at the time. I miss the Louisville-produced trucks. Knew them so well. Literally could call the guys on the assembly line and ask questions and get answers...pre-internet. Those guys would actually play games(Chess or whatever) between builds coming down the line(I did not witness that, I only heard of their accounts) There could be quite a lag of parts on the line depending on engines, transmissions and suspensions. For the most part, the frame lengths were standard and up to the end-user(dealer generally) to create. Mechanical things are much more impersonal now.
