Well done man xD, I also drive horse and trailer for a structural steel company, and I know the struggles with these tight spaces haha, sometimes people underestimate our skills, dude. Also, on a side note, what cameras are you using on your head mount and horse?
Nice job REAL DRIVER. I've been in a bit of a dicey tight quarters myself. As a woman semidriver heard that before it's not gonna fit 😂 love, proving them wrong without incident.
Ive done stuff like this with a dry van, had to get out and look a whole lot and precisely make certain moves to ensure the trailer gets its clearance, but doing it in a long nose probably make it a lot more difficult. Most the time i just gotta pray that itll work out they way i would hope and not get stuck in a position. Its about as much as a slap in the face to wake up, butt clenched, heart racing, your foot on the clutch is shaking like some earth quake is happening, trying to be as calm and patient as you can, cause any mistake will cost ya. It definitely dosent help when people are screaming at ya and telling ya whatever nonsensical thing it is which makes it increasingly more difficult to focus. Then they play victim when you lash out cause you want them to leave ya be in such a situation when you really need that little bit of peace and quiet to boost your focus effectively. Lastly as well, its even worse with moving obstructions, these construction guys in the way waving their hands is nice and all but sometimes you gotta wait and play it out inch at a time
My dad drove a B61 Mack with a 5x3 tranny. I was 8-10 and would ride with him sometimes. I thought it was cool how he would use both hands to shift, but to this day, I don't understand the 2 stick thing. I eventually took up truck driving for a living with a single stick, 10 speed road ranger.
You did a great job. I had a guy go nuts because i went down a one way because i couldn't get under the bridge. I got so mad i almost cracked his face. He was screaming the entire time. Lmao. I still made it.
You were running down roosevelt boulevard looked like….I actually saw his truck once at a warehouse in florence…takes awhile to look at everything he’s done….never met him though.
