Thanks Sam. I was going to order a replacement PCM for my 2004 Grand Marquis, but see that even without the keyed entry system, I would likely need to have a Ford dealer replace the main computer. I have been turned down by two local Ford dealers, one who says that Ford no longer offers the PCM, so they won't work on the vehicle. They showed me a repair order for a 2007 Grand Marquis that they can't service, only 35k miles; won't crank. Weird when Ford can't fix their own vehicles. Another local Ford dealer told me "we usually don't work on anything with over 135k miles.

How would you install a used instrument cluster using Forscan software.?

Should the PCI procedure work to program a blank dpc202? I know they are a bit old. Tried to do that and mine would get two bars on downloading when programming and go no further. Is it possible to take the program from and existing pcm and transfer it to a blank (as a spare) using fjds? Thanks!

I tried installing a central electrical module on a focus S-max. FJDS prompted me “install new module,” I unplugged the old CEM and installed the one I wanted to install. Now the entire high speed CAN network is down. I’m extremely stressed. The instrument cluster has a code saying CAN bus off. If anyone has any ideas I will be very grateful. I would have to buy FJDS software again to do any more programming

Hey man... What's up with the FEPS open circuit/ Ignition switch position 0, while I'm bench Programing??? I had 12 voltage and then I've switched to using 18 + volts on the bench. 05 Ford PCM won't allow me to program it...What the hell man... How can I rid myself of this problem??? Anybody???

i appreciate your video and effort, but i do this for a living also, and didn’t get a ton out of it. someone who isnt familiar with ids or fd(j)rs couldn’t have possibly understood what you just did. if you’re not doing the video to really detail the procedure then i’m not really getting why you made it at all. just my opinion. peace.
