Hey man, I know this was your first time on a race track but you're making a few mistakes that can be easily fixed. First is your position on the wheel is pretty dangerous at race speeds. Having on arm out the window and one of the stick is fine around the city, but on the track it's best if you can have both hands on the wheel at 9-3 or 10-2 so you can fix any problems like oversteer or understeer, it might be best to tilt the seat forward so you have a bit more bend in your arms to have more control on the wheel. Second is your throttle application is very harsh. You stab the throttle very quickly which can overpower the driven wheels, causing understeer in FF cars like this, and oversteer in FR cars. You'd probably be in the wall if it was a powerful rear wheel drive car! Instead it's best to gently apply power past the apex of the corners. Last thing is your downshifts, by now you've probably figured out how to do proper heel-toe downshifts or general rev matching. The reason for this is if you don't, the engine speed is forced to match the wheel speed by itself, causing a braking force to the driven tyres and unsettling the car. It's why the car lurches when you downshift. If you downshift properly with a rev match, it'll be a lot more smooth and stable. It worst case situations, your kind of downshifting with no matching can cause wheels to lock up, meaning you'd understeer pretty heavily. I hope you take this into consideration.
Yes you are right and know that all nur on this racetrack is all dangerous and the Physik of a fwd Car i know and olso a rwd Car that was a gentle drive and not 100%...i was so shockt that i have been that it was a Dream...i will take it better for the next Time i go to the Ring and thanks for the Not Bad comment
I like the ST220 but even with your foot on the floor those 6 cylinder E36 blazed you easy.... It looks like fun and terrifying all at the same time..im hoping to do a weekend there next year so I can get Blazed by E36s....
I'm taking the liberty of responding because I just came across this video. having played with the original 325 i e36 I can tell you that the st220 is not taken like that the engine modifications exist I think they are well modified like the 106 which sticks the m3 e36 😒 a sweet dream
Althought it is a 3.0 V6 with 225bhp, it is not a car to play around with BMW M3 or cars prepared for the racetrack. It is a heavy car! Just enjoy your car and your driving on the track. The ST220 is a very good track car but needs a lot of work to be fast.

You are body position is far from the steering wheel.. You need a better position so You can correct any car upset and please revmatch heel And toe when down shifting , Finally grab steering wheel with both hands around corners.
nice ride on board man! the st220 looks great and fun. i have a sttdci with more 370000 and i am very sentimental with mine but very afraid by the brakes who need to be more expressives so have you updated yours to take this ride?
Very nice race, if it was your first time. I think you were trying to feel comfortable while driving with one hand resting on the door and not reaching the limits of the car. I have never been on the nring, so i understand your small mistakes, if i were you i would be more cautious even i am "good" driver and i know cars better than humans.. :D

No es culpa del st 220 porque correr corre tiene tiro los 250 de marcador e puesto el mio pero en este caso es el k lo conduce pues esta dejando en verguenza al st no tiene manos para esa maquinita le viene grande al torete este 😂😂
Mdr et la st220 se fait prendre par une punto multijet 65 ch aussi non mais lol les mecs qui ne connaissent rien arrêtez de commenter et de comparer lorsque vous n’avez pas d’éléments valable 😒 tu aurais dit une r32 ok mais là faut pas pousser déjà comparé berline et compact aucun intérêt ta golf mk4 1.8 150 je la prend en twingo rs 133 si tu veux
Man you need to learn some tips. First . Not crap inside car.. man got bits sliding all around. Probably has the floor Matt's under his feet. Hands all wrong. Hope you checked oil level. Not your fault. Track should be on top of these failures you begun. 😂😂😂
