One thing I was wrong at was this, the PCM was not getting power because some how the power cable and coupling got disconnected in the engine prior to getting to the engine compartment fuse box. It probably happened when we changed the alternator that went bad. So the pcm had intermittent power, then it would cut and no start. Took it to Ford and they did not know what to do. Took it to a "I Fix Fords" guy in Fuquay and he found the loose wires and connected them in under three hours and about $180.00 later. PALS was not the issue, it was the dang wiring. Check all your wiring in the engine compartment, fuses and relay to make sure PAL and PCM all work. if pals is the issue in your car you need to put bypass wiring at the ignition module and in the engine compartment.
