yea they do like to melt pistons, i believe as long as you make sure its mapped right and its getting the correct amount of fuel and not running lean then it should be ok. im running stage one mods with nismo injectors and a tomei manifold and im gettin 310BHP an 1.2 bar. ive also got a walbro in the tank as well as better spark plugs and supporting mods :)
@@ThatCarGuy1983 oh I tried many times. But it was too much fun getting it sideways. I even tried listening to soothing music to keep myself chilled out when driving it.
They did 1 a few years ago where a r1 (When they were new!) went up against a black 3dr I think the power of the 3 dr was around 4/500 bhp and the bike beat it but it was a close match! I would like to see this or reyland coz up against a bike as they are built to be given flatout!! Then i do feel that a standard r1 / hayabusa would have a good fight on there hands!!!
Thats a stereotype dude, and gas prices aren't cheap anymore. I want a Sierra Cosworth so bad I can't stand it, but sadly we don't have these awesome pieces of machinery in America. :( Where as Nascar (ugh) and drag racing are the, I guess most seen popular types of racing events in America. IMO you can't beat the Grand Am Rolex Series races, and the American Le Mans.
@@johnss11n what do you mean by lost them? And yeah i know if you want one find one on ebay or auto trader and import it you will have to convert it to left hand though 👊🏻
@@ThatCarGuy1983 they didn't sell well, no cars did. All we have left us the mustang, something called the ecosport, SUVs and trucks left in Ford's lineup. They don't have to be converted to left hand drive, we can have have right hand drive vehicles.
@bearing camo, totally agree with you ford is original American, but now there's ford America, ford Europe etc,rs cosworths by far are the best ford in Europe anyway but deep down I do love American muscle like the mustang boss 302 etc, the yb engine in cossies can get silly power from the 2.0L block
By the way that was at 1.5bar with peak torque at 3500rpm thats before your cossy has even come on boost ! My golf runs a gt3076r and pulls boost from about 1500rpm and will do 325bhp at 0.6 bar
If you know anything about cars you will know that bhp sells cars and torque wins races ! My golf is 447ft lbs of torque thats over 600nm and its a daily drive ! Plus its no check book car i built mine from start to finish
seing as the rb like to drop the head of the spart plug on cylinder 6 would say that the 2JZ is a better engine to tune. but ofr a reliable 2.0 turbo engine would be either the YB or the SR20DET.
OK fair point, we're not short on trash TV ourselves here in blighty. In fact I'd say at least 80% of our TV is complete and utter trash. I very rarely watch live TV, most of what I watch is the good stuff I've recorded, this means I can skip the annoying adverts too. Look up a guy called Jeremy Kyle on here and you'll see what I mean. He's a bit like your Jerry Springer and has all kinds of scumbags on his show.
No think you need to have a read about the most powerfull f1 engine ever and the reason turbos were banned from f1 ! And then theres VW vr6 engines bolt on a turbo and they will do 600bhp with no internals or headwork !
Have a look at awsome gti rolling road results for last saturday my vr6 did 422whp and 447ftlb torque with a standard engine and standard management ! Have a look at schimmel performance at some real engines
"Real engine"?? So the YB is not a real engine?? Wtf are you on about lol you mentioned a golf but strangely i don't even think you know what a golf is.. 🤣
A stage 3 cossie will go of the clock at 170mph with around 350 bhp so I'm pretty sure that this car with more than double the power will definitely do a legitimate 200+mph only my opinion
@MrPagee1 I don't disagree but...Ford is American. Just sayin. I just get all pissed that Ford give all of you the best of what they got. And we're stuck with outdated crap. lol
My comment was just stating the truth of the fact that Ford sells better cars in Europe and I wish they would sell their European cars here so us "stupid Americans" could enjoy some British engineering. So I will ask you to kindly retract your statement since we are actually in agreement.
Hahaha sorry that you misunderstood me. I was just stating that Ford of Britain makes better cars than Ford USA. I'm quite sure I know more about the history of the Ford motor company than you do so please refrain from calling names. I have nothing against the British. In fact I appreciate when we get engines and cars designed and engineered by the British. BECAUSE THEY'RE BETTER.
@bearincamo YOu havin a laugh? I`ve had fords for years and theyve rusted, broke down on me and not started.Last one was a 2002 mondeo piece of junk wouldnt start several times and broke down on me including once on the motorway.Never bought another ford after that.
Thats funny you talk like some one who didn't go to school where did you get all your money ? Plus ill go up against an rs6 any day of the week been there and done that now jog on and keep dreaming of those cars you would like to own ! You can also see my golf fetured in septembers GOLF+ !
airline captain. You are unable to master the english language and as such you should forget trying to ridicule others. As for your comment regarding the cost, yes you would need to spend in excess of 45k to build one of these this fast, but your last sentence actually is unintelligable. And I can buy one now for £2750 albeit standard.
Sorry but stop going on about being 20 years old ! BMW had 1400bhp out of a 1500cc engine in the early 80's thats an m10 cast iron block found in a BMW 2002 running 85psi boost so a cosworth aint nothing !
Seemed to do pretty well in touring cars and is the most successful race car ever built in terms of ratio of wins to races entered So yea it's nothing 😂😂
