Hi I came across your video about swapping for another stereo I didn’t have the confidence at first but when you mentioned about swapping the plug over with the aftermarket stereo I did just that I now have a proper working stereo and you saved me spending money trying to get someone to fit it keep up with the good videos.

First Ford connect I’ve had so I’ll be watching your videos for the help and advice you have been given … you go through all the steps in a way that the home mechanic with a little knowledge he’s dangerous can get us out off the brown stuff when it all goes tits up… keep them coming… battery not charging properly red light on dashboard … issue killing radio no response totally dead please do a video of that mate

Excellent video. I have a cigarette lighter socket on the right side but only a blank plate on the left side whilst your video shows sockets on both sides. I've often thought it would be useful to have a second socket, did you fit the left one and if so did it have a connector behind it?

Hi thank you! I think it comes down to spec level, I know mine had a lot of extras as I have the original receipt from new, I think there might be wiring there. If possible try and remove the blank and have a look. There’s a good chance the wires will be there. Hope this helps. Cheers

@@1NELIFE Blank came out but no obvious sign of the connector behind. Could be in there somewhere, will investigate further on a warmer day.
