It was the pump . The timing was out by 180 degrees because of the way the coupling works . I had noted the timing mark but whilst the pump was off i had moved the crank around . After a while realised and put it back where it was and it fired up . As in will it start part four . I taje it u have seen my resto vidio
@@markcasely1673 I had wondered that. We did that years ago with a Major engine in a loading shovel. There was clearly plenty of fuel with yours. It started instantly when corrected just as the old Majors should.
