Thanks Mark. The full fuel button on my '54 Fordson Major pump was broken off a long time ago (I've owned it for about 2 decades), and I didn't even know it was supposed to be there. I pulled the unit apart and welded a cut-off bolt to where the button should have been. Works great! I've had to use one squirt of starter fluid since I bought the tractor... No more!
@@markcasely1673 So I did the work this weekend and my problem was the diaphragm , it had a major hole in it. Thanks again for everything you post . Cheap fix
Sorry yea its mark lazely on facebook . I dont hardly use it and notifucations arent switched on but ill look at it in bit if you send it over. Just checking the the timining on mine as i changed an injector tip yesterday and prevoiusly retarded the pump timing a bit but it not fireing up straight away . Also the rest posistion of the aur flap is unknown as cant find an data so gona close it up a bit to start with and see if that helps.
You have the nuematic pump ? With the vacum pipes going to the inlet manifold ? If so check they are not blocked . If you able to push the stop button back and stop the engine then that means it could just be diphram has a rip or tear in it .
